You made the same point I did. Why would they make the chirp while feeding if it's so loud and can draw attention? I know that cardinals can sometimes be defensive with feeders against other species and like to feel protected while feeding so it's odd that they would be making so much noise.

I might be biased because I like baseball but Blue Jays are super cool. Same with Cardinals and Orioles. 😊

Be careful!!!! This sim card is restricted with the free camera in this deal and you can't use it on other IOT devices. And they will let you using it for other IOT device at the beginning and stop the service after one month. The description at the website is confusing you to think you can use it on other IOT devices. There is a note at some place showed the restriction.

hi, the deal is sim restricted with the free camera you are right. and it doesn't allow to be used in other devices at beginning, we've added several notes to emphasize this :)

This is very clearly discussed in the review and online it's the whole point of the free camera. Actually Watch the review and you would know that and understand how it works

Typically when Blue Jays behave this way it's because they feel threatened in some way, protecting their nest/young. I didn't see a nest around in this clip and maybe the Blue Jay didn't see the GHO on the right under the branch there. The Blue Jay in the GHO's mind was harmless but it was funny to see the GHO yawn like that! Hilarious!!!

some micro field marks that might be helpful short-billed dowitchers have spots on breast vros long-billed have bars on breast, and short-billed have spots on the belly vrs no spots with long-billed. This is something you have to be close up to see but can be helpful. Also long-billed in flight have a pretty distinct white patch in the underwing (armpit)

This is the noise they make when they want to clear all the other small birds away from my feeders, so they get the whole setup to themselves. All the other birds hear it inbound and immediately scatter.

Well my husband and his friend just saw a black cottontail in our driveway. I've seen dark cottontails but not black. I know there are morphs or melanistic animals but I thought maybe it had got grease, oil or soot on it. We live in Arizona desert. There are a lot of rabbits this year and been a lot of fires this month. So I'm not sure what to think. The folklore on it got me spooked.

Well...the owl finally had enough of Mr.BlueJay pecking him on his head. I wonder how long the other owl hung around? Mr.BlueJay probably has a Mrs & nest close by.
