What I appreciate about you is, you are true to the game. By that I mean, you are living the life you say. I’m finding so many are faking; living between the van and any number of other places. Over looooong stays at Hotels, their parents, sticks and bricks, not really traveling solo, they are NOT full time and probably never intended to be. Hats off, I salute YOU and the others who are being real and transparent. Life on the road is not always easy or pretty but again, you stay true to the game, stay safe!!!

I love her videos too, but also understand that it's a lifestyle in general terms. As such, *there are many ways to live it, and doing it for many different reasons* (I like the others too.) For me, it is watching the beautiful places these people travel to, and how they do it, being a fly on the wall while I am stuck in the city with responsibilities that prevent me from going off like these fortunate people.

I absolutely love your videos. You are such a positive person and you see Gods beauty in everything you see. You look for the positive things in each place you go to and I appreciate that. I also appreciate that you keep your language content clean as profanity is so harsh to the ears. You just do a fantastic job and have given me the confidence to travel to the places you’ve been (which is right in my own state) and to follow your path. And Joey is such a little scamp and a trooper!! I also travel with a little companion dog. Thank you for much enjoyment.

LOL Yes, my pups also! If grass is damp she just stops, that’s it, no more. Rain? Forget about it! She is not going anywhere. She would bust a bladder before setting a Princess paw down yet she is THE BEST at the groomers, they love her. I love her to pieces and just have to respect it’s not easy being a princess.

You do an amazing job filming the beauty you see. Its so beautiful! Joey sure looks like he is enjoying the refreshing water. Have you thought about buying one of those national park passes? Other nomads say you get half price camping fees. Have a safe journey!!💖☕☀🌤
@MyBasicJourney3 жыл бұрын
I have one, and almost none of them do half off anymore unless it's an access pass (seniors/disabled) or a military pass. However, you do get access to any of the National Parks. I've been to 8 this year because of the pass. It's $80 for the year, and with each park being $35-45 to enter I've definitely saved money. Some parks, like North Cascades, don't have an entrance station so you don't have to pay to visit. That being said, some of the National Forest campgrounds accept this for half off. Just not the ones in the National Parks. The campground I worked at last year accepted it for half off. But I haven't found many that do anymore. It has changed a lot in the last few years. Especially since covid hit, and the surplus of campers that are out. Almost none offer the half off anymore.

It felt so peaceful accompanying you on this video. I used to live in Seattle and love the really tall trees in Washington! They are not so tall in the Texas Gulf Coast. You had such wonderful camp sites by the creek and the river. The sound of the water is magical and relaxing. The walk had a very familiar feel to it, and I long to be there again…eventually, I will. Joey is such a good companion. He’s about the size of my dog, Finn, my best little buddy. It’s great that you are out living your dreams and taking many of us with you. When my 97-year-old dad is gone, I’ll join you on the road and head for those tall trees of Washington State. Until then, I’ll enjoy the journey with you and Joey🥰

Beautiful place..joey is a lucky lil fuzzy boy. I find it very refreshing to see things scattered about inside your van...I looked in mine today and thought omg..a tornado was here...LOL. You see so many spotless and perfect inside....I CANT DO THAT. Mine is clean but STUFF EVERYWHERE...ON floor..seats all over. I don't have cupboards and shelves and a fancy build...just bins ..baskets and backpacks of STUFF.. My future home my mess I guess
@MyBasicJourney3 жыл бұрын
Yes, this!!! I get comments on how messy it looks, but that is REALITY. Even when I clean it up, it will look messy 5 minutes later. Lol It is what it is! Maybe when I have a bigger van and places to keep everything hidden, it will look "clean" more often.
