Great video!! I'm glad you did that upgrade. I owed a 04, Ford F350 6.0 with a 8" lift and I done so much upgrades on my truck.. Its the VGT Turbo actuator when that happens normally. Its like a valve that makes the turbo VANES open and close

I have that same MagnaFlow muffler and exhaust system on my truck and you really don't lose any Flow by having that muffler installed you can see right through it from end to end, no restriction

Make sure to only use Motorcraft filters and keep it serviced regularly.

Oil changes every 5000k! All to keep those injectors working properly ! And add archoil to the oil to prevent stiction issues

Bro i love 6.0s my channel in based on my 6.0 but one huge thing about buying a 6.0 is you absolutely have to buy one that has been well maintained and taken care of. Im nervous buddy because if your oil cooler is bad and turbo then im scared whoever had that truck didnt take care of it. I seen it blowing black smoke in ur last vid which means it has a tune on it. If someone tuned that truck with a stock egr cooler then they were idiots and im afraid u just bought their negative consequences.

You can take your turbo off and take it apart and clean the unison ring. It’s real easy I’m about to do that when I change my ipr

Yeah, I rebuilt mine completely. A lot of parts but pretty simple to do. I changed all the seals in the vgt actuator as well. Using the nickel high temp antiseize worked great on the moving parts of the vgt.

The 03 turbo provides no gains only just for the sound. Look into a powermax turbo. Make sure to use oem Ford parts when changing oil cooler or any engine parts.

Tuned the 03 -04 stock turbo will hold/make more power. Not a substantial amount, but more than later models

If the cooler went you would be blowing white smoke. If you have oil in the coolant I would say you lifted a head. If you have arp head studs then I would say you cracked the head

Oil in coolant is most likely your cooler I cleaned my turbo but I'd recommend getting a kc stage 2 or powermax stage 1

Don't ever tack weld or weld anything on that truck with the batteries hooked it happened on my truck and it drove me nuts trying to pinpoint what happened the truck would quit throw all kinds of errors codes hundreds of dollars later I ended up getting my pcm remanufactured

Yeah I just bought a rebuild kit cleaned it all with some solvent and fine wire brushes, used nickel high temp anti seize as specified in rebuild instructions. No issues so far.
