MYCA Athletics Gala Highlights

Bismillah!
Alhamdulilah, the wait is over and I’m so elated to announce that we’re building the first ever Muslim sports complex in America, God-willing!
It started as an idea years ago. I still remember sitting in front of the Kaaba in Makkah pleading Allah to make this vision come to fruition one day. Today, I’m ecstatic to share this dream with you and see it come to life with YOUR support!
For the past year and half, my team and I have been working tirelessly on an initiative that we truly believe will benefit Muslim American Youth for generations to come: the first ever state-of-the-art Muslim Youth Sports Center! It’ll include a basketball arena, soccer stadium, separate male and female fitness center, and more. Additionally, the complex will include an education center, dawah center, prayer hall, and banquet area to support numerous events and programming throughout the year.
Muslim Youth Center of America (MYCA) is a registered 501c3 non-profit in the State of Connecticut, which promotes physical and mental well-being through sports and spirituality. We just had our first successful Muslim athlete’s gala on Friday, April 28. The energy in the room was palpable! I was pumped to share our vision and to instill a new sense of purpose for the community. We’ve already accomplished so much, and I can’t wait to see this project to completion in order to build a better future for our youth.
