these cause a huge percentage of chronic illness that inckude the "itis" suffix in their diagnosis. people just suck att testing and theres capital incentive to keep these things spreading rampantly. funny you metion it only gets bad for immunosauppressed people; covid does just that, and has infected over half the globe.
