Soundgarden are like the accumulation of everything good about hard rock/metal/punk/psychedelic rock/stoner rock all rolled into one and never sounds forced. The sum of their parts, never trying to outshine the other only in it for the music and what music it was🔥

He was so shy all the way through out his career, he ALWAYS starts out so shy and unsure of himself, then by the second or third song depending on the audience's reaction he would open up and blow up the outside world indeed. I love you and miss you so very much. See you on the other side of the super unknown brother.

This is so cool. Back when MTV had real musicians on their station. I remember watching back in 1996 when it was on TV. It was always a treat when you got to watch something cool on MTV. With KZbin now you can pretty much get everything on demand if you miss anything. Well back in my day if you missed or didn't record it with your VCR then you were SOL. Lol. I really miss the 1990s though I don't care what anyone says. What an amazing decade for music. Rock bands are obsolete now. after the already famous bands go away Rock will be Completely gone 100%. Makes me shed a tear. The old way was so awesome back then. When bands actually got paid.

Chris was on point in this one, my god. Singers with this kinda range are pretty hit and miss so when you find a live clip with great intonation it's a goddamn keeper!!

I've seen these guys from day one at the Central T to now in many ways, shape and forms. it still blows my mind how they did always put a ton into everything they did, with respect to the customer, the listener, their fans.
@LorneVignettes3 жыл бұрын
The thing I love about Soundgarden is the fact that everyone in the band contributed to the writing process. Also Chris was not the best Guitar player out there but these guys were all about The Song. Sounding cool was what mattered to them. Most bands today are all about showing how amazing they are at playing instead of caring about the sound.

I remember when MTV only played music 24 hours a day and after 12am ALL the really great sexually explicit content or controversial songs were played well after 12am. I remember all of running home after school to call 1800dialmtv to request our favorite rock bands and it didn't matter how many millions of people calling they still would NOT play certain controversial songs until after midnight, Jesus Christ pose was boycotted and we boycotted MTV. Crazy stuff.
