Vocals are unmatched. Flawless guitar player. His solo shows are the best concerts I've ever seen. A musical genius, a legend, a real rock god. RIP Chris. The best lead singer ever.
@prometheuspredator79713 жыл бұрын
I so agree. Chris is the best ever and never will a lead vocalist will replace him. His octave voice level was a 3 or 4, can't remember which one. Not even opera singers can hit it that high. As far as vocals go, Chris is right up there with Freddie Mercury. Chris has always been my favorite vocalist and always will be. Love you, Chris. I have never understood why Kim did get alot more credit and attention as other guitarists. He is the best.

I remember thinking they are the heaviest of all the heavy metal bands. Loved it. I remember the model stepping forward to the mic saying your a heavy metal band. I think it was 90 or 91? They showed up all wearing black and Chris's hair was cut off short. I think it was 1990, right? Great times, rest in peace brother Chris Cornell. Loud love forevermore!

Chris cut his hair in 93. The award show you are talking about was in 94 or 95. Mainstream award shows would not have known who they were in 1990 . Their current album in 1990 would have been louder Than Love and great as it is was not cleaning up at award shows .

@brianmannion70977 жыл бұрын
Pallah DaOracle Chris is a better songwriter and overall contributor to what projects he was in over the last 30 years. He wrote amazing solo work, movie soundtracks and did some of the best covers. Chris can sing in blues, funk, rnb, rock, classic rock and metal. Layne is just a rock voice with very depressing tone. There is no versatility. Also chris had a lower range aswell as high compared to layne so please stop with that misinformed crap. Chris also had this voice that was one in a million. The tone is his voice or his natural sounding voice you never get tired of listening too. You its cornell when you hear it. Put it this way. I wouldnt have like half of chris' solo work if there was any other guy singing it.
