Nice work. I use Schlage locks and the keys are always in the proper direction. I am in the Midwest also. That’s seems like a fair price. But I do charge for debris removal. I enjoy your videos , thank you

The debris just stayed in the back of my truck until it went into the contractor’s dumpster the next day…shhh!😂

Nice work. The price sounds fair to me.

Wow, US economy is so different. For comparison in Poland a 16x20 foot fully insulated garage framed 2x6 with ceramic roof, two windows, automatic main door and side door cost me under 9000$ in materials, including concrete. Solid insulated steel doors cost around 200$

It would be funny if you tried a speed run of installing a new door as fast as possible.

I can install them in a garage, fully functioning, in about 20 minutes.

Those people seriously need to clean or replace those gutters.

Ya think? LOL

That's a VERY reasonable price. I need my furnace swapped. One for one. I'm figuring 1/2 day of labor. My first plumber called quoted $10,000 with the furnace costing $5000. "F"-that. That's what May-- Sept. is for. Besides the additional cost of the different trim material, would using TREX deck planks as a trim material be more labor money?

Trex instead of the treated 1x6? Definitely more in material cost, but labor would basically be a wash.

I mostly see key-up, so debrees and water cant go into the locking mechanism, but here i DK its not a rule or anything. Each his own rule of thumb :)

I assume the key can be flipped on Kwickset somehow…I’m just too impatient to figure it out LOL
@dannico588 сағат бұрын
for some dumbass reason, if you want both keys to face "teeth up" on a Kwikset knob & deadbolt set the door must either be a "left-hand door" or a "right-hand reverse" door, the reason is, you flip the striker assembly which means the teeth will point upward, both the doors you installed are standard "right-hand doors"

And it’s weird, like 9 out of 10 times I’m installing a Kwikset, it’s on a RH door dang it!
