I have the identical Iena MM in DE and absolutely love it. I got mine in September 2017 and use it every day for work. I also put a Samorga in it and love it. I have no wear and tear on mine. It was my first LV purse and I don’t regret purchasing it at all. 🌸💖😀

Sandi Stroud I loved this bag too, but I sold it. I saw someone having the graceful corner with a lot of wear, I became really worried about the iena corner wear and couldn’t enjoy it anymore. I’m so glad yours is working out great! Thanks for watching!!

It took me a while to get the courage show my face. For a long time, my husband didn't want me to show my face because he was worried about security. I love your videos too! You are no-nonsense --- I like that! I sold the Totally MM for Iena MM and love the front pocket so much! But, I just saw Tournelle MM at the LV store recently and I LOVE IT!!! So........ but, I told my husband that I'm not buying it unless I get a good deal on the pre-loved market and then will sell my Iena MM. It's a lot like the Iena but has more details and has a long strap. It's over $2000 at the store, and I'm just not prepared to buy it especially since I'm perfectly happy with my Iena. Again.... this elusive purse peace..... LOL!!!

Myfavoritethings I have the Melie in monogram so when you were talking about the corners the Melie is folded and glued underneath I hope I’m not going to have any issues with mine so far so good and I love that bag it’s amazing such a shame we have to worry about our bags like this

I had no idea that Mellie also had a folded corner! I know someone who wears this bag every single day. She has a beautiful patina on her bag and I don't think she has any issues yet. :-). But I agree with you, I sometimes worry if it's going to get more wear on the sharp corners.....

Myfavoritethings yea Maggie on the bottom of my Melie it’s folded in all 4 corners but yes I do rotate my bags a lot so hopefully that helps the wear and tear a bit ! Good to know about your friend not having any issues with hers and I am gentle with my bags always so I can only wait hope and pray and see what Happens in the future I will be doing more informative videos right now Stay stunted and thank you for always supporting !

Thank you for the review, and I think it’s great that you’re on camera now!😊 Have you had any wear on your straps from rubbing against the zipper? I’ve heard of some Iena owners having this issue.

I have heard that the Monogram Iena can have the wear on the straps from rubbing against the zipper, but I don't have any issues with the Damier Ebene strap. Hope that helps! :-)

Hello again! I was hoping to get your thoughts on how substantial (thick/quality wise) you feel the Iena is made compared to Totally? I tried the Iena in store and wasn’t very impressed. It just felt more cheaply made than the Totally. (I had a Totally in DA for years but sold it, then decided I wanted the DE but just after it was discontinued so I bought a “new” one from luxury reseller & it had a slight dent at top near the zipper that bugged me so I sold it, then immediately regretted it. Now the only new Totally DE ones avail on resale sites are ridiculously priced ($2400ish) which I can’t justify for mostly canvas. And i don’t want one that shows wear. I’m very conflicted. Does Iena’s rubbery feeling handle bother you or feel cheap to you? I know you did a comparison video between the two bags a while back but I’m curious about your thoughts now that you’ve carried the Iena for a year. Does it feel less well made to you? I think the Totally MM I had was thicker than Iena canvas. I think that Totally had much more detail than the Iena. I did a video comparing the two as you mentioned. I sold the Totally MM because I just couldn't deal with the two outside pockets and me forgetting which pocket had my phone (totally a user error -- I'm such an idiot!). I recently sold my Iena to fund a Petit Noe Epi. I loved it (in a world where I'm a zillionaire, I'd keep every bag :-) ), but that said, I always worried about the corner sharpness. Mine was in PRISTINE condition, but the corner worried me since I read some owners of Graceful having wear in the corners (like the Longchamp Lepliage corners) and it scared me. So, I sold it. The handles of Iena didn't bother me at all. In fact, I thought it was more carefree than the Totally handles since the Totally handles had a brown film covering the leather (like the Speedy DE handes). I miss my Iena sometimes and I think that it is one of the most practical tote bag --- I just wish that they did the bottom a little differently (maybe like the Totally) so that there are no sharp corners. I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks so much for your review on the Iena. I also have the Iena MM in DE that I purchased in October of last year. I love my bag, however, mine has white marks all along the inside by the stitching underneath the zipper. I was curios if your bag has any white marks?

Hi, sorry for responding late. I was on a family trip to Portugal :-). I no longer have this bag since I sold it. The corners really worried me to a point where I just didn't want to use to for fear of wearing it down. I saw couple of images of Graceful bag with significant wear. I miss the bag though since I think it was one of the most convenient tote bag that LV designed. I just wish that the corners were not pointed. It's one thing to have a hole in my Longchamp Le Pliage after some use since it's under couple hundreds of dollars, but I would be devastated if there's a hole in my almost $1500 LV tote bag! So, I'm not sure what the wear and tear would be for Iena in Damier Ebene. But I kept it for about a 1 year and it was in pristine shape (probably because I didn't use it excessively too much).
