I once was at the Vitamin Shoppe and the people working there took several calls asking if they had it in stock because Dr. Oz just mentioned it on his show. This was really awesome, you should do more ideas around creative marketing ideas! If you're interested in more about Edward Bernays I would highly recommend watching 'The Century of the Self' and any of Adam Curtis's documentaries really. They are fascinating. Also, to add to this list Listerine did a great marketing job where they kind of invented the fear of 'halitosis' (bad breath) to sell mouth wash.
