As a professional M&A guy that has done hundreds of small and large deals - deal doula - is such a great term! I love this episode. I'm at 8.75 for the episode just to include both a 7 and an 8 in the number hahaha

Yep, that would be great. Sam already has a course on ideation ( ideation bootcamp), can imagine Shaan starting a similar course. I'm listing all the frameworks and business ideas Shaan mentions on the pod on the site MFM vault. Maybe that helps.

One does not simply... If there was a blueprint for replication, it would be easy. And if it were easy, we'd all be successful. It's a game of hard work, smart work, and probabilities.

Please click like if you do think that Shaan should write a book about all his life and business frameworks, mental models and lessons. Shaan has so much to give to the world. I totally love his thoughts even as a non-native english speaker. He is dropping golden nuggets every time without the startup/silicon valley BS

I think I’m regards to KZbin content or well, content in general. Age really depends on niche, would I trust a 15 year old to tell me about business or finance? Probably not. Would I trust a 15 year old with gaming, or viral, entertainment based content? Sure. Would I listen to a 30 year old for both? Yeah probably. Either way, I feel there is still tons of room in the KZbin space, regardless of age. The hard part for most is just simply finding your niche.

Your missing the point. Most of the asymmetry in real estate is captured by a small group of insiders. Just like robinhood brought investing to retail. He is taking about REITs and real estate in general to Retail
@volcon

@@Edwin-nl3qu You can buy a REIT in Robinhood, like, let's say "Realty Income" $O, and get dividends from rents every month. That's how I understood the business he explain

@Edwin-nl3qu

@@volcon IMO He is talking about some combination of microacquire, rolling funds and robinhood for real estate. Yeh you can buy public REITs but like index funds there is no asymmetry. Most of the value is captured and all you get is the leftover to scalp off. It would be really cool to have a platform where I could make a small early investment into a real estate deal somebody set up. The vehicle to do that already exists in the form of REITs but the platform doesn't exist. Currently REITs are like VC before rolling funds, all the alpha is in who you know, what you do and who you are.
