MyFit skate liners overview & Crown liner heat molding tutorial

Any idea when will the crown liner be back on stocks? It has been out of stock from all the shops.

I NEED SOME ADVICE. I bought the USD Aeon Sam Croft 2 with the Myfit 2nd skin. I'm 9.5 UK shoe, so I got the 9-9.5 UK skate after watching reviews and reading comments but my big toes are slightly too tight. I removed the innersole which helps but will they stretch out? I don't want to buy more liners for £80, plus they're not easy to get hold off in the UK. I already had multiple issues getting the skates delivered from Germany etc.

Hello, removing the innersole is one good option. They should not stretch out i think. Delivery of good is quite complex since covid is here. Hopefully things will get better oon. Thanks for the comment.

hi thanks, can you add info on the hight profiles of the liners? So for a liner of the same size i.e. UK 11, are they all the same hight?

hello! all heights of each liner are listed at each product page for sample size 41. in between sizes of each liner, the height only chnages a few mm (up for bigger sizes, down for smaller).

My Aeons feel tight with the Skinny Boy liners. Do you suggest that I try 2nd Skins in the same size...or stick with the Skinny Boys but one size up?

We would suggest using a second skin liner, the thick upper padding and well pronounced achilles padding is very comfy, whilst also keeping your heels well secured in a classic throne. It also has a removable velcro piece on the outside of the upper heel to increase or decease this support. This liner also has a thin neoprene toe box providing extra comfort on longer skating sessions. Sam Crofts

@@PowerslideInlineskates haha we are Fahrenheit in Ky. I did the math though and hit the oven with the proper temp. Hoping it helps. I keep getting a blister on my right arch in the MyFit Chris Farmer pro Crown liners. My first aftermarket liners..!

Will the crown liner give me more support on my next if I feel they are a bit loose and I have some extra space i don't want inside the skate with the recall liner?

Great question. Did you try it out or did you find your answer somewhere. O got the same problem. The next skate is eitherway far to small or a bit loose. With a loose skate after some hours my outside ankles start hurting because im moving inside of my boot with the spc liner. If the crown would have a even more wider fit this might fix my problems.

@@BlackyRay_Patrick Yes i did try it and what I noticed is that the crown liner is wider in the ankle and the mid foot area, but it has the same toe box than the recall. The skate felt more snug but not enough at least for me. I still got some heel lift, I ended selling the skate. And yeah you are right, a few days ago I tried a smaller shell and it was too tight, the next are not my go to.

Legitimate question? Why not include any sort of laces, even el cheapos, with any of the MyFit line when buying a complete skate from PS? Having some sizing troubles due to my extremely high "arch" (really- a high midfoot with a medium arch) and I think having laces to tighten them up ESPECIALLY while heat molding them, to really squish that middle tongue area down. I guess I should just invest in the Second Skins and look into heat molding the actual area of the frames thats causing me trouble. I hate that I'm having this issue because the skates are pure class, beautiful, exactly what I want, and fit perfectly length and width wise. Just that ankle area... Does anyone actually use the top two eyelets? I don't see how the stock laces would even REACH such the holes even with no feet at all inside in the liners. Seems like I need to get two more pairs of laces. A pair for the liners and a pair of waxed hock laces in a very small size for the top of the frames? Or just let it rock with the top strap, gradually break it in, and if I need the closure, get some hockey laces?

compared to 2nd skins, a bit thicker, but overall relatively thin. pretty similar on the toe box to fatboy liners.

Second skin are shit. After perfect fit for a while they squished itself on ankles and baking didn’t do any improvement. They are too thin on ankles although are almost in new state. I put Valo liners from m12 instead and they are gorgeous.
