well done.

@@aliciannaw.9915 i'd just cook them a little longer until they reach 160. The time will depend on how thick they are. I'd guess around 16-18 minutes.

I am so pleased that I finally bought an air fryer - and especially pleased that I paid attention to the positive reviews of other users, and decided on this one kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . It is just perfect for the two of us, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I roasted salmon filets for dinner tonight and they were the best ever - slightly crispy on the outside but moist inside. Best of all, no smelly kitchen or difficult clean-up. My only complaint would be the lack of even a few printed recipes to get started. My generation does not find it easy to access the QR code and use the smart phone app. I bought a recipe book instead, which gave me the confidence to experiment.

For steaks that thin, I wouldn't let them sit out first. I'd cook them while still chilled, so the exterior will have more time to brown in the air fryer. With thicker steaks, you might need to let them sit awhile to avoid still being raw in the middle.

I love the look of the garlic butter. Very smart idea. Just a suggestion but it would require less clean up if you used a paper towel to wipe oil onto that grate. Personally i would cook the steak in the butter though. You could wrap the steak and the butter in aluminum foil possibly. Might be worth a try but it looks good the way you did it. Your husband is very lucky to have you.

I think 🤔 throwing it in the oven on broil for a minute would get that sear some of us need to see. I normally sear it on top of the stove , both sides them put it in the oven 400° for about 5 minutes on each side. Shorter time for a feletmenion cut. Just made the butter and pre-heating my air fryer now.

What kind of oil sprayer do you have? It looks like it works a lot better than the one I have. Thanks for the video!

I thought the intent of an air fryer was to reduce fat in cooking. Coating with oil and butter certainly defeats that thought.

You can omit both if you like. It'll just taste different.
