Hello there, thanks for the ideas, however someone who does self-help workbooks like me, I'm not sure what sort of video I can make to visually appeal to an audience on TikTok. Hi Caroline, yes, I'm new, I've sold, like, two books, LOL, and with spending money on the basics I need to start creating books for KSP (BookBolt, Creative Fabrica, etc.) I do not have an advertising budget, AND, the thought of making time to learn about AMZ ads when I'm still fumbling around making different books, is just out of the question. There is only so much time I can spend in a chair in front of my laptop before I need to do other important things on my farm. OK - so with that said, I'd love to make a video of me doing my word search book, it's a horse word search book, and I have a horse who loves to look over my shoulder, LOL. But I have no idea what is the best equipment to buy to hold the camera, or where to learn editing. Do you have good resources for these?

lol well I had a tiktok, within 2 days I got a notification that I violated TikTok’s rules and they banned my account . I never had a chance to post any books!

Hi, they did me like that as well, but I submitted a ticket and it was resolved. It was a glitch in their system, they were doing this to a lot of people and once they submitted a claim, they were back on the site. Try it.

Question: if you don't have 1,000 followers, are you not able to provide a bio or link to your book? You have to wait until someone asks and then reply with a link? Sorry newbie who has never posted on TikTok!

Yes you need 1000 followers before you can post a link in your bio. Even if you post a link in comments it’s hard to copy and paste

The problem is your location. If you are located outside of the US, your TikTok videos will not reach the US audience!!

Most of my audience is based in the US and im In Australia… you just need to create stuff that people in the USA want to watch in my experience 😁

@@RoryBland Can you give me a couple of examples as of what exactly you mean? I produce coloring book videos like so many others and my audience is mostly in Europe. My vidoes look like most produced in the US and still I don't get the US audience

Sad fact: TikTok will be banned in the U.S. on January 29, 2025! Q: If you put up a bunch of videos about your books, will they be pulled because of the ban? Is there another social media, other than KZbin, that you could post videos about your books? Check over your right shoulder at 13:56!
