One tip is when you said to remove wood from the tc to let the twig decay, you may want to make sure that you put wood back in before sealing your bunker. Otherwise your twig/wood quarter wall you put down to seal will decay and open up the bunker.

Great base. A very important note to add. The builder must ensure they have enough hqm on hand to upgrade both bunker roofs simultaneously. A player who is not aware of the nuances in the bunker mechanics could seal their base accidentally by upgrading only one.

No point in acting like the base was good, I did start with a good idea, but i mean the execution of it was very poor and I just overlooked so many things. Vice Versa Gaming was also one of the people I watched that got me into building so it was kinda cool to get some feedback like that

By going outside and placing a half wall and square behind the main loot room, it's possible to put a triangle above the 4 boxes in the bottom, allowing a third level for an extra 2 big and 1 small chest, or have another place for a repair bench. All the bottom chests are still accessible. It's also possible to put a campfire in the middle of the bottom 4 chests.

I managed to place 3 turrets in the base, 1 where you had ”free space up at the depo boxes” second by the door at the door camper peak shop front and the third by the sleeping bag triangle, all works without any problem to move. Think this is a good way to get some extra protection for online/offline raids

I could see the core being enlarged to atleast two square foundations or maybe if you can fit the layout inside of the rock formations you can limit the raiders entry to the back and be more generous in living space behind the roof bunker. The design certainly has potential. What I personally like to do is make a fake rooftop entrance just so the raiders waste some explosives. Two garage doors and all they see is an armored ceiling LOL

8:37 if i take control of that TC, i can just close in myself there, and start softsiding the tc foundation, its around ~ 5 jackhammers and 13 mins if i do bring a partner, to me tc is kinda weak. would suggest close with a wall the battery since u have no more use of that space unless u wanna cramp the splitters/branchs inside there that foundation can be softsided

I would change the location of the shop front by adding a triangle off the squire and then 2 shop fronts on that, then replace the shop front with a garage door so less info is given to the raider Great base though love the vids!!

I'm trying to look in depth with the base, and so far it's looking nice, but I would like to point out one vulnerability. In a wipe day scenario, where resources are sparse and many players are roaming the map, if you get doorcamped before adding the roof bunker(which is a high possibility on wipe day), you risk having your bag speared out after being killed. Just a thought though, for more casual players this shouldn't be an issue.

I really like this base, the only thing I don't care for is the amount of furnace space compared to storage space. Seems like there is TONS of box space but only enough room for 3-5 furnaces. seems low. My workaround was to not close off the additional space in the front and add extra furnaces there. Also, if you are like me and had trouble with the T3 bench try removing your boxes and placing the bench and then subbing a large box and small box. (definitely a downgrade, but makes putting the t3 way easier)

Make a bus stop base design. It’s could be amazing because you can wall your tc and loot boxes inside the bust stop which can be accessed from the other side. You could do the wall bunker design where you place a ceiling sideways which opens up the wall.

Looking good but due to splash damage pummeling on to roof bunker also cause damage to wall behind TC. Putting armored doors makes it 24 rockets to TC and 34 for all loot in core(Core all garage doors). I recomend this type for ONLY solo servers vanilla. Not even modded. 2x 3x this is easy target. I also customize it with heli roof and mini garage. There is 1 big gap needs to be fill with red siren lights to prevent to squize in. + Somehow roof bunker also takes damage from rocketing the first 2 doors.

I have been using this style of bunker for a few weeks now. I build it off a 2x2 with at least a second floor and if I am feeling really good I will add a shooting floor and heli pad. but its a great size for 3 people to play out and just enough size to fit 5 max. if you need help I can show you how to build it on a build server

Hey dude awesome base I’m planning on using it on tomorrow’s wipe! One singular suggestion for you (or maybe there’s a reason you don’t do it). In the main loot room do a half wall on one side and a full on the other then vise versa to finish, this would negate the need for buildup when your finishing the loot room. Anyways awesome vid man!

Did they blow through the armored parts or was your core not upgraded to armored yet? In my experience even on high pop servers, once the raiders have invested a certain amount of explosives to blow through garage doors, the added cost of 8 C4 to blow up an armored structure can save you. I had 6 garage doors infront of the armored core and a sweaty group of four players didnt have enough explosives to blow in. However after that I had to move as they now could calculate the exact amount needed for my base.

Could I frame out my roof Honeycomb with half walls and then fill in the interior with low walls to prevent splash damage? Making them have to go through the roof,then low wall, then ceiling? rather than the raider destroying roof tile than your ceiling because the half walls took splash damage? Nice base. Problem I see is that you don’t have a roof entrance in the early game. Doorcampers will wreck you in the early game, camping you with a DB or crossbow/nailgun.

yes you have to remove the window to access the tc, and also yes you want the bunker to be closed when you go offline so that if raiders offline you they have to deal with it

Very nice build, but is there some better way to place your tc. (maybe build one more triangle in beginning further from that bunker part). I just don't like the idea that you build bunker where they just can blow your tc's back wall off and get access to it.

Right, this is why i suggest putting an armored door there, but even without 1 its 4 rockets to get in, 1 sheet door, and 1 garage door, which is the same as going through the wall - 1 stone

hey, im mostly building a 3x3 with a suizide bunker in the middle + honeycomb mean its 31 rockets. But im getting raided every ~4 days. The only thing i can think of is, building a base multiple times and pray over night. This base is also not that strong i feel like.

this base is pretty strong for its size, its a micro build. You can upgrade the outer honeycomb to metal and then also add more honeycomb

Also i love how slow and precise you are when you go through how to make your base design, also how you explain where certain thing need to be placed and in what order as well as the reasoning of why you do it! Im new and not sure about building. Been playing a week already and have only been a “nomad” bags and stashes. My base designs are terrible and i manage to mess up even the simplest of small bases. Doors in wrong areas, tc in wrong positions, boxes crooked and not placed correctly( breaking them from picking up to much) any hints as well as dealing with servers full of zergs? I have a bunch of blueprints. All the guns alreadys. Tommy,Sar,Custom even Ak and rocket launcher. Do i start on a new server again or tough it out? Im a solo noob. Die all the time in pvp bc i run naked. I cant afford to lose kits of clothing and weapons. Im on console as well so not many options i guess. And cant trust players i dont know IRL.
