the low pass filter does not add low end. It removes top end. That’s why it’s called a low pass. it lets low frequencies pass through

This delay appeals to me because it allows shaping of various reverb sounds rather than preset ones with only a small amount of shaping options. I dont know if I love the sounds because I dont like a lot of reflection towards the end of the tail. Tends to sound boinky and fake. But I did love some of the sounds which tells me that the things I dont like could be setting based. Thanks for the great review!

Does this pedal add a digital buzz to your signal? I think it is usually from the powersupply, it's often just the consequence of using digital pedals. I have a ZOOM CDR that I like a lot, but it adds a zinggging buzz at 3 and 6 khz, I think it is, if I remember. It's not too bad when practicing, but at "gig" level, it is terrible, 6khz HURTS! So, do you get that digi pedal zing from this pedal?

I'm wondering this as well. I've got a ZOOM CDR-75, I think is the name..., and I've got "Isolated" power, and the Zoom ZINGS TERRIBLY, at 6khz if I remember correctly. I do believe it is the powersupply, and what the digital pedal does to the powersupply, just noisy, and a really bad noise on the Zoom. I'm wondering about this for the Snake Bite. Last "gig" I did, we tuned up, and sound checked up to "gig" volume, and my band was like, "WHAT IS THAT SOUND?" with their fingers in their ears (they're also younger, and haven't played amplified gigs before, so their ears still work). I rolled off the highs at the mixer, and it took some of the zing out, but also deadened my guitar sound. I wish the board had fully parametric eq, but they don't do that much anymore, and never on cheap boards. I bought a cheap Danelectro 6 band eq, and pulled the 6khz, and it helped a little... but I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm shopping for another long tail reverb, so I'm looking at the Snake Bite, but I can't deal with the digital noise.

Haha, and the predelay. If the tail is longer, and mix higher, you can hear the top three knobs!
