I worked at a place that had a huge tree of Poinsettias in a lobby. There were so many Poinsettias on that display. I had to clean up those leaves too often during the Christmas season. To this day I do not like Poinsettias at all. However, the stamp set is beautiful!

@@pattygrooms5412 We had one on the side of the house that would grown towards our neighbors driveway and scratch their vehicles whenever they pulled out. Needless to say that the neighbor got tired of trimming it to get it out of it's way. He asked if he could kill it and be done with it. I said yes since I wasn't the one that was keeping up with it. :-(

❤️❤️❤️ I think it’s a gorgeous card. Haven’t watched a lot of utube so it was really nice to see you looking so well. I trust that you are. Thank you for sharing, I love poinsettias, but had to mind my spending this year, Covid affected us financially but we are safe and healthy and that is what’s most important...the nice part of this story is a dear friend of mine, knew this and gave me the bundle as a Christmas gift, said it was more a thankyou gift for helping her during the year...isn’t that what friends do, anyway I’m so grateful and a little embarrassed by the generosity of the gift but I can’t wait to get a jump on Christmas cards for next year and your card has me inspired...I forget how special vellum is. Again, thank you for sharing and I trust you had a wonderful Christmas in spite of restrictions that may have been enforced in your home town. We are very lucky where I live and was able to celebrate with the family. Stay safe, stay well and God keep you and your family 🙏❤️🇦🇺

A poinsettia is actually a bush from Mexico. In Mexico you can find bushes 5 feet tall and full of flowers. 😀beautiful flowers. I colored vellum for my Christmas cards this year using random areas in the colors coordinating with the snow flake bundle and then die cut my snowflakes.

I revisited this today Cindy-Lynn because I’ve been using the poinsettia dies to make Christmas cards (using the Snow White velvet card stock) and remembered this beautiful card. Now that I’m more of an aficionado with sprays and splatters (thanks to you, (everyone needs to see Cindy-Lynn’s videos on how to make them ) I’m going to try colouring some poinsettias on vellum. I’m also thinking the gold shimmer vellum might work too.

Pointsettias are a small shrub or tree and what we call the flowers are actually just leaves..When the shrub goes into its darkness stage 6-8 weeks that is what changes the top leaves colors...LOL Love this card, so pretty!! TYFS Stay Safe :-)

That must be some thick vellum! Do you know what the "poundage" is? :) MFTStamps has a 100# vellum, but I'd like to know if SU's vellum has more weight... Could you please let me know - because the SU website doesn't mention it. Thank you again for the video!! :)

I believe (from my research) it's 43lb vellum. (20 sheets * 8-1/2" x 11" * 43-lb. text weight ) In all honesty, I've never come across thicker vellum. I love and swear by the stuff! lol Hope that helps you out. 😋💗

No, everyone who purchased one will get an email from Stampin' Up! with a code for a product credit. The value of the credit is equal to the amount spent on the Magnetic plate. Stampin' Up! knows who you are and will send the email to you 😉

If your plate is not curved to much yet. You can place your dies flat side down against the magnetic platform and use a top plate. This way you don't damage your nagnetic platform and you still won't have your dies jumping around on you. 😊
