Eiiiiii, Ghanaians ! Since when are we seeing illegal mining as an activity that deserves to be declared as emergency? Hmmm! Is it not the same Ghanaians who were hailing promuses by certain politicians in galamsey areas to legalise galamsey operstions ahen voted into power ?Politics in Ghana is now silly as people vying for political positions behave as people without conscience conducting themselves as if they want to destroy the beautiful country our forefathers won for us with tact, and theur blood. What manner of politicians do we have nowadays ? Can want of political power drive people mad as we are now seeing in our 4th republic where political campaigns are fraught with many indecent comments and conducts?

It's very sad how the media has become part and parcel of this mess. Most of these media stations are owned, financed and controlled by either the NPP or NDC and they sit there speaking big English. Haruna Iddrisu is speaking as if the problem started with the NPP. I now understand why nobody respects black people because we are mentally weak and incapable of governing ourselves!

This journalism of equalization MUST STOP. Akuffo Addo was given power for eight years to manage and steer affairs of this country. In the cours of these eight years, he’s proven to us that he’s despot. But when it comes to fighting Galamsey, he and his people call for all hands on deck. The blame must be put squarely at his door step. When Mahama called for the Senchi dialogue as a way to find a bipartisan approach to the economic and social challenges of Ghana, didn’t the NPP withdraw? Over the years, multi media journalist have sort to drag Mahama into the abysmal performance of the NPP in terms of fighting the galamsey. What they do in this bid, is to say that MAHAMA said he’d released Galamseyers who have been imprison. But there is a caveat to his statement. Today Haruna Idddrusu has on over hundredth time explained what Mahama meant. Winston, even went a head to play a video of the speaker saying some MPs are involved in Galamsey. Yet as at this very moment NO MP has been put on trail. If not for mischief, that audio of the speaker which Winston played, isn’t it a buttress of the point MAHAMA has been making all these years?.

People are doing Galamsay because the government allows it, and it's even the major player. All our farmlands, which could have been used for mechanized farming, are being wasted because they have not been in use. We dont have industrial parks where thousands of people can be employed, because we spend money on expensive vehicles and fuel them with free petrol. Ghana !!!! We are sitting on a time bomb if we fail to do the right thing to restore our water bodies.

Why wont the president fail the people of Ghana if the major opposition is leveraging on the fight against galamsey to make political capital.
