Jonas stop saying "I weigh twice as much!" because you also have twice as much MUSCULAR STRENGTH to lift that weight. She couldn't bench press as much as you can because her muscles aren't as strong as yours. She can't lift a couch, and you probably could. This competition was measuring fitness, and face it....she's a BEAST. But you married her, so you win too!

i weigh 90 kilograms, in which 40 of those are muscular weight but i have no strength cause im fat and out of shape he does weigh twice as much as she does, and he has a lot of muscle in his arms, but so does she! she has a lot of strength too! you have to be in very good strength condition to actually lift yourself if you weight 90 kilos (he's 99kgs) and you can easily lift yourself even if you have no strength if you weigh 50 kilos...
@tuoshiwan50463 жыл бұрын
muscle and weight aren't directly proportional. Weighing twice as much does not mean you have twice as much muscle even for someone thats fit, since theres things like bone structure, essential fats, etc. As far as I know yeah, if you weigh twice as much you will have a harder time.

Great video, the two of you are really funny and adorable together; that was a solid win for MyKayla. But I would like to give some context on her win, just some info. Those who work with weights in the gym, like Jonas, train for Absolute Strength where one produces max force to move external weights. But gymnasts and bodyweight athletes, like MyKayla, work primarily towards Relative Strength or the amount of force you can produce in relation to your bodyweight. So in this challenge, as strong and muscular as Jonas was, it was obvious that he wasn't going to win, with his massive frame and bodyweight. Of course, the situation would be completely reversed if this were a gym challenge and they were lifting weights. As much as I enjoyed the video, this comment isn't to take away from MyKayla's win; its to share some info I thought would be helpful to everyone.

@A.Girl.Has.No.Name.3 жыл бұрын
I may not be McKayla, but you should try a "hairagami" bun maker. Not the generic ones, they're shorter in length, and don't hold as tightly. Ypu can get them on Amazon, Ebay, and most dance supply stores. You just have to adjust how close to your scalp you are when you begin rolling it to make a tighter/looser bun, and if you wrap a scrunchie or wrap band around the bun once it's finished, it won't go anywhere. There are many KZbin videos that will show you how to use it. I have long fine hair (but a LOT of it, so it's heavy) and it holds my hair well. Another thing to try is the silicone ponytail holders. My niece used them when she played basketball for years, when nothing else would stay in place to keep her hair back. Good luck!

We now know you have the superior power to weight ratio though Jonas is also clearly athletic. What I see is that ‘it’ factor. You are having fun but that determination and competiveness is clearly there. The mental toughness to push through pain is what separates you from regular dudes like me. Impressive!

I'm so excited to root for you for Classics, I went out and bought a replacement TV, a task I've avoided since 2007. I can't wait to see your FX routine. You always fly.

Points for MyKayla ! She kept her elbows in and went all the way down on her push ups ! That makes them way harder !
