I HATE when women say "I put myself in that position" after a man does something to them. Literally unless you were the one to surprise him with a kiss then you did not put yourself in that position, he did. That's not cheating, that's someone taking advantage of you. He did it because he knew you were naive and innocent. You didn't do anything wrong. Your partner knew who you were with, where you were going, and what you were doing. He was obviously comfortable with trusting you and you didn't do anything to break that trust, unless you hid it from him after, then that's a little iffy. You didn't initiate the kiss, you did nothing wrong, and you didn't put yourself in that position. You were being a good person and trying help a friend. Do not blame yourself!

I disagree that she put herself in this situation. Men as predators keep us trapped in this situation all the time. There’s literally no perfect thing to do avoid situations like this. The perpetrators hold all the responsibility for the incident, regardless of how aware of what’s happening the victim is or is not. 💚 Ughth, I really hope we can normalize saying this assault. Thank you for adding your voice to changing it!
@itsgrace7174 жыл бұрын
Yeah :( I had something similar happen, and everyone I have talked to about it has said it was assault, even when I used to blame myself. I'm glad she seems to have moved past that and is doing okay though!
@pathetic23994 жыл бұрын
@@TheMuseTree Just predators, not men as predators. Women do this sort of shit, too, unfortunately and it happens TO men, too. And other types of people that don’t necessarily identify as male or female are capable of doing this sort of shit. Pinning this sort of predatory behavior on men solely is a problem even if you didn’t mean to intentionally, so please don’t take it as me trying to white knight for men. I’m just all for it being widely acknowledged that predators don’t come in one sex because too many not-male predators get away with this sort of behavior. It should really go without saying that not only men are capable of being predators but unfortunately it needs to be said until one day we stop saying “ Men do XYZ predatory thing and thats bad” and instead just say “ Predatory individuals do XYZ and that’s bad” without having to think about it.

I don't think she was saying that she did anything to deserve it to happen, but it did happen because she was there, alone, with this guy who obviously didn't respect women. If another friend had been there too he probably wouldn't have acted like that. It doesn't mean it's her fault or she encouraged it or anything, but a lot of situations take two people and you can still be the wronged party whilst sharing some of the responsibility. Unfortunately you can't always tell what someone is like until after they do the bad thing, but there are steps you can take to make sure you're not the person the bad thing is done to. There will always be exceptions, obviously, but life isn't usually so black and white.

if I got that much makeup in one sitting, I would be screaming and probably would be excited for the next YEAR. but also I'd love to see a video featuring the paints!!! seeing you do something not super typical or mainstream with makeup would be so cool. I love watching avant garde videos!!

I definitely checked you out because of Mykie but stayed because you’re amazing. You’re so honest, gorgeous and talented. You deserve everything and much more 💖

I think you would have a successful youtube channel even if Mykie wasnt in the picture. Youre personality is amazing. I just think Mykie helped it grow faster.

I’d like to see you use one of the “weirder” shades. Like duochromes, iridescent (kvd holo), and things like that.

You should separate the products into different make up categories (lipstick, foundation, concealer, ect..) and use a blind fold to pick the products and create a full face of makeup

This inspired me to finally clean my brushes. My acne is quaking.

why is no one talking about how intensely she's cleaning her makeup? I'm just disgusting? cool.

sky rayne I believe she said she cleans it for clients as a MUA

and bc this makeup was used before, by mykie... so she's cleaning so she can use. it's not like she's going to clean her brand new makeup like that lol

I freakin love Katy and her positive attitude. Especially spreading her thoughts that you don’t need to be up all in people’s shit

I absolutely love Katy's analogy of the beauty community 💜

Come for the beauty, stay for the wisdom! As someone who worked with kids and behaviors for 7 years, I have to say the analogy and advice that was given was pretty spot on! You are so sweet and kind Katy and I'm so pumped I got a video from you and Mykie today! I'd love to see you use the KVD Lolita Por Vida pallete or the Urban Decay Naked Honey pallete because I think the colors are gorgeous!

bring back the “full face using only _____” vids and do a full face using only Mac lipsticks😂

That sounds so fun!

That analogy is so good lol I work in a daycare/nursery and it made complete sense. There’s only a couple toddlers that are always bad, sometimes the good ones might have a bad day, and then you have the ones that are so well behaved. Loved this video! ❤️

First I'd like to say thank you for being a breath of fresh air! Yes I followed mykie and that's how I found out about you but I stayed because of you. I hate all the drama and just love makeup. I love all of your videos. I'd like to see you do something neon! That would be cool. Thank you. Please dont ever change. God bless.

I love that I thought this was going to be satisfying video of Katy cleaning all of mykies old makeup but instead it was just a video of Katy pulling all of the makeup out of the boxes and chaotically scattering it all over the floor 🤩

Honestly Katy being asked if she has been jealous of Mykie and just "Hahah-No." That is power. I absolutely love that.
@jenniferilgaz67204 жыл бұрын
You said you wanted to try fx makeup "for real" in your latest collab with Mykie. I saw a couple things that you might be able to use in those boxes. Like the alcohol activated paints.
