Honestly there’s so much to love about her.. she writes her own lyrics since 1986 (she started her career in 1984 but even then she was around when the lyrics were written etc), she never lip syncs during concerts.. on tv? Yes, but during concerts she doesn’t. I’m really glad that she doesn’t since we paid to see her sing live, not to hear the studio version. She is probably the most successful artist of all time in France, 21 no1 hits & 15 no1 albums! Her personality is wonderful, shy and held back off stage, she rarely does interviews, and on stage she’s as if a different person.. very courageous. You can tell she loves her job, loves her fans & also feels connected to her songs. It’s amazing the bond that she and her audience have.. also she never calls them fans! She always says either “my crowd” or “my audience” (etc), not “my fans” and that alone tells you a lot about how she is

Désenchantée is her greatest hit and biggest fan favourite. It’s from 1991 & has been preformed on every tour since! It’s the song everyone is waiting for, I mean who wouldn’t love désenchantée? It was no1 in France for 9 weeks & in the top 10 for the following 16 so 25 consecutive weeks in the top 10 alone!! It was the most sold french single of all time (around the world & in France) when it came out!! The music video for this is also amazing - a short movie basically.. not sure what videos of hers are blocked where you live, but there are other ways to find it besides her official channel! Also maybe next react to Avant que l’ombre 2006, it’s breathtaking

Oh, this was exquisite! I have no idea what she or the group was saying but it was easy to feel connected nonetheless just because of the music and the spirit of the singer. I love music that can connect people internationally and so effectively. I can tell you felt it too, Cynthia. Hello, dear Cynthia... once again thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for reacting to my suggestion. I knew you would like it. Here are some facts about this video : It took place at the Stade de France (the football stadium of Paris Saint-Germain) on September 12, 2009 in front of 80000 people.... ON HER 48TH BIRTHDAY (!) and this is, as you might probably have figured out, the end of that concert. What I really like is, that this time, you concentrated on really ENJOYING the video, instead of focussing on the lyrics (which by the way - like most of Mylene's texts - is deep and sort of pessimistic). Her concerts are always rare (during her 37 year carreer she only went on tour 7 times !) and epic, especially her intros and endings, but you will certainly find that out yourself during further Mylene Farmer reactions... and now - please, if you don't mind - I would love to see you react to an artist that I just recently discovered myself : Eivor ! She is from the Faroese Islands and captivated me from the very first moment I saw and heard her. And I'm sure she will captivate you, too... I live in eastern rural area of eastern Canada, in French speaking minority areas, and when I was young in the 1990s you heard alot of this french pop music on local french community radios... like, you go to the barber shop to have your hair cut and this is the kind of stuff that played in background on the radio... En effet , elle est pas comme les autres. Pourant , elle a gagné toute les parties face à ses détracteurs. Voix tres limitée => Progression constante par du travail . Voix plus étendue que beaucoup. Sait pas danser => Danse tres bien avec son style propre. A montré son cul => Pas stressée pour ca et le fait savoir mais n'en fait pas son fond de commerce ! Live impossible pour elle d'apres tous les journalistes => premier live elle explose tout. Merci au revoir. N'ecrit pas ses texte au début => Ecrit et en general ils sont superieurs à ceux d'avant et écrit quelques musiques Pas mal pour la petite chanteuse que tout le monde voyait faire deux 45 tours ! Pas de bol , c'est l'epoque du clip et elle fait du clip haut de gamme dont les chaines à clip veulent la primeur. Terminé les apparitions télés pour se faire connaitre. Apres , elle choisit ses appartions télé et les journalistes tremblent. Pas de question sur sa vie privée et ne pas lui faire commenter l'actualité sinon la chaine la revoit pas pendant des années. Maintenant , c'est elle la patronne. Aucun paparazzi n'ose lui tourner autour. Car entre autre ,un mec en a tué un autre pour avoir son adresse. Elle a été terrifiée et abatue de l'apprendre. Alors, les journaux à scandale trouvent que c'est assez et ne la cherchent plus (accord tacite avec elle) Elle vit cachée et ne va pas dans le showbiz parisien , elle en deteste beaucoup et inversement. Ses amis ne parlent jamais d'elle mais elle en a, et pas les plus nuls. Elle refuse la légion d'honneur et demande a ne plus faire partie des gens a recompenser d'un prix. Resultat => 30 millions d'albums. 35 ans de carriere. Elle a ridiculisé tout le monde avec sa petite voix. Pas mal pour une femme torturée des méninges, mais TRES INTELLIGENTE et rancunière. Là où elle etait faible , Mylene a bossé, bossé ! Voila pourquoi beaucoup la considèrent comme extraordinaire !
