I gave her my humble heart many years ago, since she is a light in these times of darkness. Mylène is a mother for all of a generation, the disenchanted ones. She sings our fears, our weaknesses, our broken dreams and our appetite for life. And paradoxically, she is an extremely secretive and reserved person. She trully is the embodiment of human ambivalence. I respect her immensely and am grateful for all that her work brings comfort to my life! 🙏🏻♥️

@Ar Zinzin ...et l'envie de partager cette considération linguistique était trop forte, il fallait absolument que tu te soulages 😑 Pas de bol, c'est tombé sur moi! De mon point de vue nous vivons sur un bout de caillou au milieu d'un incalculable chaos. Le fait même que toi et moi puissions "échanger" relève déjà d'un petit miracle. Alors tu penses bien que de savoir qui de l'anglais, du mandarin ou de l'ouzbek domine... Je m'en fous mais d'une force! Sois sûr que nous allons tous mourir plus incertain encore que ce que nous étions à notre arrivée dans ce monde. VRAIMENT, j'ai pas le temps pour les complots et les digressions politiques. Agis à ton niveau - dans le monde physique j'entends - si tu souhaites mener un combat ! Ce n'est pas en jouant le prophète ou le chroniqueur de bistrot que tu fera bouger quoique ce soit. Du reste, j'attends la mort sur mon bout de caillou, au calme, en m'émerveillant à moindre coût. Si on pouvait juste me laisser kiffer, par avance merci.

I've been a fan of Mylene's for over 10 years now. When I was a kid in the 90's I used to be terrified of her because of her videos (turning into a moth, killing a pimp, flooding the world with her bath water), but when I grew up I begam understanding her genius. She caresses my wounded soul with her music. I am so in touch with her melancholy. Her songs are like looking in a mirror, and seeing your self stripped of all the defense systems you go through life. She reminds me of s very melancholy and depressed Peter Pan's Tinkerbell. She looks and sounds like she is not out of this world. And you are so pretty, and obviously getting her. Thank you for reacting to her music. Spread the word of Mylene's music. I live in a country where she's basically unknown by the public, and yet, she is my top 3 performers of all time

She has 21 no1 hits (held the record since 2008 w 8 of them) and 15 no1 albums there! Sold Stade de France twice and just in 3hrs (82k per concert aka 164k tickets in 3hrs)!! Her 2013 tour was the fastest selling tour in French history etc.. her stage visuals are extraordinary, her stage budget has crossed 30 million € more than once. she’s super impressive really.. She gives her career her everything, she has only done 7 concerts & given out 11 studio albums in 37 years, but whenever she does do them/give them out.. it’s superb. Mind blowing even

It’s pronounced “Me-len” :) sadly the one you watched wasn’t the best ver of the song, I prefer the 2009 ver, her voice there was amazing. This is from 2011, she was 50 here.. the song is from 1988 Anyway I suggest always looking up the lyrics, her lyrics are SUPER poetic, beautiful, melancholic etc.. and I think you noticed it! Even though google translate isn’t the best translation, you still get the vibe..
