Awesome video as always mate... Love the longer video and all the info you share. With you MMD prawn, what type of outfit are you using to throw it? My spinning out fit i use for jacks is a 6'4'' 4-9kg rod with a 3000 stradic ci4 20lb sufix and i feel that my set up is to heavy to throw such a light lure, and i dont get very much casting distance. Im a kayak fisherman so i can only take 2 set ups with me, my other set up is a baitcaster in a similar weight range, just a much shorter rod. My braid is a couple of years old now, due for replacement, maybe fresh braid might help with casting distance? Keep up the awesome videos mate....hope to see you onto a monster jack soon!

@mylurebox3 жыл бұрын
They’re go mate ;) if you’re fishing slowly or with stalling to pull fish in then they’re not gonna hurt. Only help I reckon :) for burning quick retrieves maybe not so much. I use em
@mwjc58183 жыл бұрын
@@mylurebox awesome, thanks mate appreciate the info. I'm yet to land a jack or bass yet and will try almost anything at this stage. Love your videos, very informative. Also do you find the barometer affects the jacks biting much?
@thor_68865 жыл бұрын
I always forget (living in NZ) how early it gets light over in SE Queensland in summer, and you don't have daylight saving. Crazy. Mind you, you can get out on the water for a pre-work fish. Not a bad start to any day. Do you dump everything and then clean up after work (washing the motor through etc?).
@mylurebox5 жыл бұрын
Mate truth be told I haven’t washed that poor motor down since the end of last season. Once she comes out of hibination over winter, if at all, she gets hammered. Might bite me in the bum but she’s been humming for 12years.
@thor_68865 жыл бұрын
@@mylurebox Geez, that's amazing. The insides might be corroded to hell, but what you can't see can't hurt you!! The other thing i like about your short-time vids is that we get to see what you put on if you had to choose 2 or 3 lures. Crossy's, the Diezel and the prawn. Enough said.

Fishing can be so frustrating at times but seeing them show some interest is enough to keep you coming back for more... a bit like me waiting for your next vid :). May I ask which model Raider are you using John ? & have you ever thought about painting the heads on those Snake Locks & maybe sticking some eyes on them. Oh! and did you cop any storms down your way the other day, we had trees falling down left, right & centre up my way from a storm that went through. I haven't be up the creeks as yet but I'm thinking there should be plenty of new cover around for jacks to hide out in.
