Hi, in this video I attempt to repair 10 faulty Eufy Robotic vacuum cleaners that I purchased from eBay for £165 ($212)
Remember that this is just for entertainment and I am not an expert in these repairs. The processes in the video may not be the best way, the correct way or the safest way to fix these things.
I do love fault finding and trying to fix broken things so I hope that comes across in this 'Trying to FIX' series.
Many thanks, Vince.

@@Pillock25 no, it will be worth. The skill he obtain will be used for next fix. For me having 3D printer is advantage for fixing stuff. Plus, 3D printer had large community. Good video again, even though you won`t leave those parts alone when soldering lol I keep shouting at the screen "don`t touch it" ! :) Don`t get me wrong here, I`m not a critic. In fact I really enjoy your approach and take a lot of what I do from what you are showing. Vince you should get a 3d printer! I got one and i've already used it to fix a label printer for ebay, cost me £20 untested and one of the holding clips wasnt holding anymore so I printed a new one and now it works flawlessly. Saved me at least £30 if not more, it will pay for itself. I suppose the only hard part is designing the models, I have a friend who does it for me but some common parts can just be downloaded.
@gower1973
@gower1973 4 жыл бұрын
George Brooke big difference between making a clip and making gears, you need to know the math to calculate the proper involuted angle to profile the teeth, its waste of money to buy a printer for hundreds of pounds when you can just buy the parts from the Shenzhen market for pennies.
@tumbles8350
@tumbles8350 2 жыл бұрын
Have you ever made gears on a printer? No maths, just count the amount of teeth and there will be a way to generate the gear you want, I got a printer about 4 years ago for 150, that's the price of 10 of those gear parts he mentioned. Still working to this day perfectly. Saves you pissing about crossing your fingers hoping you don't die of old age before the parts arrive from China.

Keep in mind a lot of the chain run products use off the shelf parts Example: 28.50 those rollers are just like the rollers used in ink and bubble jet printers paper guild trays, Meaning more stuff you take apart and squirrel away parts, the more stuff you can fix for less money later down the road.
