Yes! Yes! I look forward to watching further vids of your input on the microscope that you use. There is so much value in the content you've gathered here with such super and high quality at that!

I just discovered your channel but I love the beauty of your work. There is a such a deep and remarkable artistry in the microscopic world all around us, a layer of beauty we are generally blithely unaware of.

I agree with taking out the 100x and replacing it with a 20x and a 60x. My scope only has four objectives, so I took out the 100x and replaced it with a 20x and that's the one I use most often. For almost all pond life you really don't need anything higher.

Amazing video you produce that both my daughter and I enjoy. A new world is to be discovered! Could you perhaps make a video explaining how to begin and what gear would apply to amateurs? Thanks again for your beautiful and interesting work ;)

Thanks for the informative video! I noticed you had some of Motic's Apo objectives on your BA310E. I don't see these being listed as compatible on the Motic Europe website. Any downside to using these objectives with this microscope? Cheers

It's always a treat to get one of your videos in my notification box, and I honestly didn't know if this one was going to be a video that I was interested in, but I quite like it. It's short, informative, and although not as soothing as the regular videos, still rather enjoyable.

Like your presentation, informative and to the point. Motic is one of the better Chinese microscopes. Also like the selection of your objectives.

Thanks for the great video! I'm currently waiting for my first microscope to be delivered and I'm super excited to find out more about the whole process in details: collecting/growing samples, shooting video, post processing, what tools do you use, etc. Looking forward for more of your videos!

I see the newer Panthera C2 series is quite close in cost. Not sure about the fixed 50/50 light split for eyepieces & camera. Any thoughts about which one to buy?

Hello, I was wondering if you could tell me what filters you used for Darkfield and Oblique illumination, and where I could get those. I'm really new to this and picked up the same microscope you have (b310) hoping to achieve similar results, like in your latest videos. I'd really appreciate some help. I'm also a big fan of journey to the microcosm.

I just got my BA310, but I am struggling how to zoom in an see anything with the 40x or 100x objectives. I can only locate live bacteria with the 4x and 10x. Struggling to figure out how to zoom/focus things with 40x.

Thank you very much! This series is going to help me a lot. What can i do if i have no filter holder on my microscope? And can i just print the darkfield and oblique filters at home (if the filter holder can be skipped somehow)?
@mymicroscopicworld3 жыл бұрын
I am glad you like it. Are you sure there is no filter holder? Sometimes they are hidden quite well as a swing out tray on the bottom of the condenser. What kind of microscope do you have? If you don’t have a filter holder you might be able to get a good result by placing the filter directly on top of the light source. And yes the filters are “easy” to 3D print at home.
@militaruandrei80863 жыл бұрын
I have a Swift 350B, the condenser is simple, an iris and the handle to drive it up or down, they didnt specify the fact that it might have a filter holder, though funnily they shipped it with a blue filter. I used it as you told me up until now, but i wasnt really pleased with it so i didnt use it a lot

I am 100% sure that that model has a swing out filter holder at the very bottom of the condenser. I have worked with that model myself 😄 try to twist/slide the bottom to the side 😄

The 20 mm is the field of view. The insertion/mounting diameter is 30 mm.

I am excited that after many years of using entry level scopes (usually from my school labs - I am a middle school biology teacher) I just placed my order for a BS310E and expect to have it arrive this coming week! Kudos to you on your fine work - I am looking forward to being able dramatically improve the footage I create for my student on what we call our "MicroSafaris" (kzbin.info/aero/PLdQqxizV8DLTuZ89Gt0zQhDHoigRQUNRs)
