Mysaria decides she trusts Rhaenyra then to show her trust, she answers Rhaenyra's question from a previous episode (whether the scar on her throat is from a slave collar) by explaining it was from her father, and why. Her sharing this with the queen makes perfect sense.

The book is written as a history book that a maester is writing a hundred + years after these events with second hand sources. So many of the events and information about the characters as described in the book are based on conflicting accounts, missing pieces of information and sometimes a week of events will be summarized with a few sentences. Things that happen behind close doors just like in real life often won’t make it into the history, and George himself provides multiple different possibilities for the way events play out or the motivations of characters. The show has to fill in a lot of those blanks, and pick a definitive version of the many possible options George has provided. So while the chat said that didn’t happen in the books, neither did any of Daemons dreams, because just like a secret relationship what Daemon would dream about wouldn’t make a history book written 100 years after the dance either. My point is there’s no possible way to be “book accurate” with a lot of things because the book itself doesn’t provide a complete picture of the events and often provides multiple possibilities when it comes to a character or how an event plays out. In fact there are even times the book will say “we’re not sure why this happened or exactly how something happened”. While I do get the way a lot of show force plots like that in for no reason, as a book reader I do think a lot of future moves Rhaynera and the White Worm make together weren’t really provided with any motivation in the books and a romantic relationship actually will make sense purely for story reasons. And while it isn’t in the book George himself would tell you he wanted the book to reflect how actual history in our world works, where a book on world war 2, the historian writing it will only be able to work off the sources they have available to them, and things behind close doors or every conversation that happened at that point in history won’t make it into a source. Point being George wrote this book purposefully in a way that you have to read between the lines and a lot of information isn’t complete, may be missing and one source might claim one thing and another might claim something else. Then it’s up to you to put the pieces together and fill in the blanks. Anyways love the show but don’t really understand why the chat often will say if something is book accurate or not when the books themselves don’t provide one definitive version of an event. I do agree the kiss had zero set up and wasn’t executed well at all. With that said knowing what’s coming a romance actually really will play a story role in a way that makes a lot of sense imo. And in terms of book “accuracy” the way the book is designed something like that would’ve never made it into the history therefore it wouldn’t be in the book, and the only way for the show to adapt this book is to fill out the story with elements that aren’t explicitly in the text. With that being said there is a suggestion that Rhaynera might’ve “lay with both men or women” … but just like everything in this book that’s just one account that may be true or may not be true. Love this show and just wanted to give a long winded explanation on the way the book work because it’s very unique and the idea of “accuracy” to the book isn’t black or white ! Again, agree the kiss came outta nowhere with zero set up, and while I think the choice is for story reasons, we shall see how they execute it. But just wanted to address “book accuracy” when it comes to fire and blood. (Commenting all that is the nerdiest thing I’ve ever done lol)

I thought Seasmoke chose Addam because Addam is half brother to Laenor, Seasmoke's former rider. Seasmoke was sniffing him in that close up scene. Seasmoke misses Laenor, and Rhaenyra even says this in the episode.
