Hello friends!! After being sick for the past couple of weeks, I’m finally feeling like myself again, but unfortunately my voice is still recovering from laryngitis. I didn’t want to keep waiting to share a video with you, and I’ve been wanting to experiment with making a silent vlog for a while now, so this week seemed like the perfect opportunity!! It's pretty mind blowing that adorable Obie just showed up one day, to be taken in by wonderful, peaceful, gentle people...What is the likelihood of that...?...There are so many people that wouldn't take him in, plus there are so many nasty people, so it's quite the miracle, and Obie really adds so much sweetness and adorableness to the videos.....One time, decades ago, i took some dried hydrangea flowers and dried roses, and lightly sprayed them with gold spray paint, and put them on top of packages with beautiful floral print, and a lace bow, (it could have been a lace bow mixed with a satin bow, like green, pink, red or white), in case you want to try it...🌹🎄🕊

Obie reminds me of myself growing up in the South where we rarely got snow; whenever we did, I would park myself in front of the window and just stare at it in excitement. ...And then run outside and make as many snowmen as an inch of snow in a huge yard allows XD Happy Holidays to you and yours! This made a wonderful cozy addition to my first day of winter vacation.

Sorry you have been sick and am glad you're feeling better. I don't mind the cold, darker days of winter. It is a time to slow down and enjoy the cozy things of life. I love the chilly or cold bracing winds blowing around my windows. The swirling snowflakes and a walk in the falling snow. Now the heat I hate, the hot sun. I am a shade seeker. You cannot remove enough clothes to get cool, but you can add layers to stay warm. Fall and winter make me feel alive, but summer makes me feel like a wet dish rag all wrung out. I'am glad you feel a bit better. You painted lovely cards. One thing I always wonder, is why people give mistletoe red berries. They are white. It not criticism I see it in almost every Christmas movie. Sometimes they even use holly and say it is mistletoe. I really don't want to say it is wrong. You make great videos and I love to see them. Three weeks ago a lost little kitten followed me to the elevator of the building, he was so scared, so I let him in,without hesitation I put him some meat can but he didn't eat, and I put water once he saw the water he ran to drink a lot, obviously he was not drinking since three or four days, poor this little kitten, I adopted him he's 5 months only and so cute, I named Honey 🍯 because he's so blondy, the next day I've got a vet appointment to check his health and thanks God he's good so I made the vaccines and bring him a lot of food especially for his age, now he's living with my little teddy dog and we are so happy me and my daughter take care of them both. I do regret one thing in my life which I am not rich enough to build a big shelter for stray cats and dogs, I do have a lot of compassion to these innocent souls and everyday I go outside and bring with me dry food and water for these lovelies, I could not imagine how they love outside without food or water. But I am happy that me and my daughter whenever we found a kitten or a dog we fed them with our minimal fundings, I hope some day to buy a land and build a shelter.
