The old saying “Like what you stitch and stitch what you like”. It is key. I have way too many projects kitted up for me to watch some of the uTubes out there. They want to sell sell sell. I am not talking about shops or individual uTubes who design and stitch other peoples designs as well. I want and need to stitch what I have and not go into debt to “keep up with the Jones”” so to speak. I like to learn new things or pick up helpful hints to make my life more enjoyable. To be able to taken something I have kitted up and put a new twist on it is always appreciated. There is a lot of wisdom and education to be shared.

Felecia, it's so good to see you back, despite the hard time you have obviously been having. These are the hobbies that 'you' love and you should be doing them for yourself and not worry about what the rest of us think. Admittedly, I don't have a floss tube but do have and Instagram account, blog and belong to a few Facebook groups but still only work on two or three projects at a time and share them on those platforms, but to be honest it's mainly for me to keep a track of my progress. Take as long as you need and come back to us when you feel the time is right, because I for one miss the inspiration you bring. xx

2024 was an absolute shit show for me. In October I learned I was living a lie for two years. I am still trying to get my shit together. I am so happy you are back. You need to do what you need to do. Thank you for sharing where you are emotionally and mentally. If it means you stitch on one piece in a month, that's just fine. I am a quilter as well as a cross stitcher and cross stitching has taken a back seat to quilting again. I need to balance my crafts, but in the meantime I have a TON of stuff to sort out in my house. Virtual hugs. You need to find your joy (and if that means no French knots, that is just fine!)

Felicia, we could be sisters. I have felt the same for m6 whole life. It was always about what someone else wanted. Now for me it is about what I want! I will walk alongside you whatever you do! Thank you for sharing, I like you no matter what you share. I work on one project until it is done. It is nice to see someone who is willing to share their thoughts and feelings behind what they do. If people on Y share what they “do” and not what they feel, there are always questions about the person and their “real” life. My 2024 was pretty sad as well and look forward to better next year.

It's good to see you again, Felicia. I hesitate to check in on people because I don't want to appear being nosey or pesty. I know you were having a huge remodel and left it at that. I'm so sorry that you've been struggling. I'm sure your video was hard to put up, but good for you!! I've not been in contact with my parents for about 15 years. How I was raised led me to marrying into an abusive relationship when I was so young and then when I asked for help I was blamed and always had it held over me, among many other things. I have my days, for sure. Anyway, just know you're not alone in the feeling unloved by those that should love you the most. I really hope this next year is a "get off the couch and do it for myself year." Big hugs!

Yes 2024 was an absolute shit of a year. Many have suffered. Don't take it personally if no one comments, they might be time poor or have issues of their own but still love your work and enjoy just being here. I love your cross stitching, beautiful work. I do it all for therapy more than anything else. I don't have to film it but sometimes I do. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again when the time is right for you. It's great to have you back, I have missed your happy face and voice. Remember, we take care of our physical body and go to Doctor when we are sick, same with our mental health. Sometimes, we need to do the doctoring for our mental health also as well,no shame in that. My heart breaks for you as you had to struggle so long and alone going through so much. I'm very sorry to hear that. From here forward, you need to take care of yourself, if that means saying goodbye to people that cause you grief,do it. That is not selfish. I pray you will soon be back to us as we have missed you,but do it only when you are ready,we will be here. Start out with shorter videos if you have to. Show your cross stitching and your quilting in the same video if you wish,do things your way, and how you want and feel comfortable with it.
