Imagine how much better destiny's over all gameplay would be if they programmed the enemy ai according to the lore. Like different cabal could behave different ways. Like imagine you stumble upon a cabal patrol and as you begin to fuck them up one of them will call in the dust legion or whatever they were called. Or the siege troopers would be seen assaulting a hive lair with 30+ soldiers of different types. The cabal could have rocket troops, legionaries, centurions, and maybe a colossus. The hive would have wizards, thralls, knights, the foot soldiers whatever their called, and maybe an ogre along with several defensive turrets and defensive positions. As the cabal push up they're placing portable walls and maybe will call in reinforcements ever once In a while or maybe a tank. Of course this would extend to all other races too, and would also be more like halo because there would be larger battles around the different areas. Then you would be able to get in on it with your friends and the ai would use more in the moment tactics like reading where your glide will land you and throwing a bunch of grenades at the spot. Phalanxes would group up and form a shield wall instead of that one autistic phalanx who thinks it's a good idea to pop that shield when all of his squad mates are dead. Shit like that would just make the gameplay so much better

It would be pretty cool if Bungie made a game where you could play as the Cabal (or any enemy faction really, most preferably the Cabal in my opinion), you know to learn their story. Also you can chose which legion you want to be apart of (Siege Dancers, Dust Giants etc.). You start out as Legionary and work your way up to a Centurion or Commander, or you have a choice to stay as a Legionary. I would definitely buy this game if Bungie were to actually make it

One of the most interesting things Ive heard about the Cabal in lore is that the Cabal troops that we fight and see in Destiny are only scouts and that there are troops, generals, and emperors that are more powerful than we can even imagine somewhere far outside the solar system that we play the game in.

ya I wish this game had raid progression like wow too. they could add lore to the raids too like say there's a cabal raid before a taken raid bc the cabal invaded the taken and put a garrison behind the keep guardians out thinking 1. the guardians will take advantage of the fact the cabal are engaged in war and are vulnerable to invasion from us, and/or 2. they want to keep any interference out bc they think other factions will get in the way and ruin their offensive. the cabal are cool as fuck tho being based off the Roman empire. they look weird being these behemoths but that's subjective, I still think they look awesome

I love this new series. There are just two points I’d like to bring up. The other day I received a Titan artifact that is intriguing. It is called “Judgement of Mars”. It’s description “Cryptarchs say this orb is our first clue toward the identity of the Cabal commander leading the siege of Mars.” Do you Believe this is an unknown commander that we have yet to learn about that is already in the Sol System? Or is this commander a powerful enemy that is still to come? Secondly, I will refer to a patrol mission found on mars concerning an aspect of the Psions that I did not hear mentioned. It is the “Multiple Hosts” mission. Description, “Kill the Cabal’s mysterious Psions. Remove their Symbiotes for processing and analysis.” Do Symbiotes naturally exist along side of the Psion species, or are they introduced by the Cabal as a means to weaponize the Psions and control them?

I'm imagining a cabal raid being similar to the shield brothers strike where we fight the boss with a massive onslaught of smaller cabal going on, wave after wave until we get to the point where the big guys show up. We kill them too. And then our raid boss comes out asking to be put out of his misery so we do just that except he has different attack patterns randomized at different stages of his health. I see it as a very linear maze simply because the cabal don't have any words for retreat.

The cabal are my favorite enemy in destiny and I'm hyped out of my mind for a cabal focused expansion. We've beaten the hive to death with 2 DLCs and 2 raids. The cabal are way more interesting and have a sweet hierarchy that makes them a really fun group to fight against. thanks for the lore video byf it was really good. Now all we need is a cabal raid. Then we can all die happy as the cabal emperor rips us apart limb from limb. The hype train is all fired up. Tickets for said train are on sale now...

One of the things that handicaps the Cabal (and the Fallen to some extent, not that it keeps them from killing Guardians) is that they do not understand Guardian reconstruction. One of the most chilling additions to the Taken King Lore is on Cabal 4, when intelligence says,, "Hey, we've noticed that the Hive can kill Guardians for good - let's go to the Dreadnaught so we can find out how to do it, too." The Light/Darkness struggle seems entirely foreign to them; nevertheless, they've kept the Vex at bay on Mars and have taken out Guardian groups in the past. That's both fascinating and terrifying, and the Last City could be in serious trouble if they get access to paracausal weaponry. Also, it'd be awesome to see a run down on the Fallen Houses, or perhaps on Ghosts?

In Destiny 2, I wanna see a Cabal expansion where the psions start a rebellion against the empire that enslaved them. They soon become our allies but there are always a few factions that then start fighting for power. Kinda like in Halo, where after the Great Schism, Jul 'Mdama starts his own faction where he looks for forerunner artefacts to gain power whilst the Elite Separatists are still allies with humans. I may be a solo player, But I wanna see a raid where a separatist psion commander is talking you through the raids to kill a Cabal threat or dangerous Psion extremist.
