Maybe my hair is just weird, but I feel like it works better for me if I only leave it in for 10-15 minutes. If I leave it on longer, it makes my hair somewhat hard. Probably the rice protein.

This deep conditioner confuses me because it has hydrolyzed rice protein in it. It's a lighter protein, so I figured it's good for protein sensitive hair or when you need a little strength but still need moisture.

I made the mistake and slept with it overnight and had gushy hair for about a good month 😌 It was overly hydrated...so I would say 30 minutes to an hour would do the trick. I still use it only bc it was a mistake that I did. I love this masque.

Honestly I would recommend TGIN Hair Mask for dry hair. It have a high amount of moisture and my number 1 favorite deep conditioner

I recommended TGIN hair mask, that's my #1 favorite, Camille rose algae renew, and the EarthBorn Salted Caramel Deep Conditioner. But TGIN hair mask never fail, I have never heard anyone say they dont like it
