I love how well you and your mom works together. My mom doesn't see anymore but I was always at her side as a little girl. Moms 74 now and just sews for her sorority.

Oh and one more thing. Watching your video took me back to my childhood days when my own mother worked at her seamstress Biz. She taught me somethings that came in handy. my aunt sent me this video, and i went to the store the same day and made two bonnets :-) I absolutely loved this. Thank you. I had a hard time sewing the satin as it kept getting stuck in the machine making it difficult to sew. i didnt know there was a special foot for satin. good to know :-) wish i could send you a picture ;-)

Thanks for the tutorial. I made a list to go shop for the materials and make these bonnets. The store bought ones are tearing up very quickly and lose their elasticity and I was getting frustrated, especially since scarfs don't stay on my head at night. Sorry to be long, but I am thankful for this.

Carmel Martin-Fairey im confused about how you placed the seem tape. it looks like you put it on the opposite side of the satin then you said to put the two satin sides together but i thought they were already together. so did you flip them over after you cut them???
