Morissette is an amazing singer. She is a Filipina from Cebu Philippines. She is also known as a genre killer basically she can sing anything rock, pop, musical theatre, r&b etc. check out a couple more Wish Bus performances like Rise Up and Never Enough. She recently did 6 concerts with David Foster in the Philippines in which she sang Never Enough, I Have Nothing and I will Always Love You. Check out those performances as well. She's one of the best out there and has only become more so since this performance. She's a cover killer , has her own original music she co-wrote with her husband and she covers all genres of music including Pop, Rock, R&B, Broadway, Standards, Rap, OPM ( Original Philippines Music) and even Christian music. This is her original hit , written by Kiko Salazar, back in 2014/15 . Her vocal abilities are all self taught , the squeaks, the growls and whistle notes and are somewhat trademarks of hers. She turns 27 on June 2 ...and also has many more originals. Up til 2021 she was known more as a cover singer , that often, makes you forget who the original singer is. Sitting down to sing is not unusual in PH or anywhere elese in SEA. Kareoke is their early traning and they sing from the time they can hold the mic. Many a vids of PH kids belting out tunes we hold as untouchable :)

I'd love if you checked out the band Blackbriar and their newest song "My Soul's Demise". Zora the lead singer has a very unique and beautiful voice that she is able to flutter in a way I have never heard before. The band's songs are "fractured fairytales" this one being about the Medieval practice of "sin-eating" where a loved one of the deceased may eat bread on the corpse to in theory take upon themselves the unconfessed sins of the dead so they may enter heaven. Now granted this will not get you 3.2k views in 6 days probably but they are a relatively unknown band that will one day be quite successful I am sure.
