Very nice video. I didn't know that HD had kids workshops. Your son looked like he was having so much fun.
@mypetitegarden18 сағат бұрын
Yes! The workshops are very popular! Lowe's also offer something similar. It's so fun for the kiddos.

Loved the video. All my favorite subjects. I love all your quirky plants so this segment really was so fun. Your book segment was awesome. Already added a bunch of them to my Libby queue. I am having back surgery this Friday so I know what I’ll be doing. Your son is so cute. I love how you expose him to so many great things. Happy New Year’s.

Our wives under the sea is like thriller/horror, it’s very disturbing and sad but so so good. I’ve read Private rites by the same author which is also really good if you enjoy! Many people dislike Anxious people but love his other work, Beartown is his best one imo. Incredible series!! And Big Swiss was one of my favourites of 2023 so I highly recommend that one as well. Love the vlog style with plants, books and a little bit of daily life. 😊

I am a fan of rhipsalis as well and when I saw that one, I went and looked and I couldn't find any other examples that had such thick stems. And I've never seen one in person like that either. But if I do, I'm having it!
@kyrad6543Күн бұрын
I resonated with the "if I read this book then I won't have anymore books by her to read". I felt that way about my favorite author Jerzy Kosinski who left me only one more book of his to read when he passed. I kept that book unread for SO long! I'm reading The Backyard BIrd Chronicles by Amy Tan (another of my favorite authors). I haven't read any books in years and it's not like her other books. But i'm going to give it a try!
@mypetitegarden18 сағат бұрын
It's time for re-reads if I ever miss the work of specific authors. I'm actually so curious about the Backyard Bird Chronicles, I see it around all the time. How are you liking it?

Loving your book segments in your videos. I am looking forward to reading Blue Sisters as well as some new thrillers coming out from Alice Feeney John Marrs. I read so many good books this year and some you might like include: Margot’s Got Money Trouble, Listen for the Lie (especially good on audio), The Last Love Note and if you like thrillers -Drowning and Falling by T.J. Newman are page turners. Happy 2025 Stacy.

Thank you so much!! Makes me so happy to hear that you are enjoying the book bits. 😀 I am SO excited for the Alice Feeney book - Beautiful Ugly! I also read Margo's Got Money Trouble and didn't love it, but it was still a solid read. I read Falling and it was really good! Listen For the Lie is on my TBR! Can't wait to get to it. Thanks for all the book recs!

A Little Life did me in. I cried like a baby and had to stop for a few days to regroup. I loved the book by so sad…Do not feel bad about DNKing books. I DNKed The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah! I know sacrilege according to the book community but I did not like it! I have a Cissus quadrangularis that is going crazy. It is growing very wild and strange. I like the plant/pot combination for the Xerosicyos danguyi. I have being growing one for years and I am trying to have it climb on a trellis. I might have to rethink that.

I knowww I heard A Little Lie broke alot of ppl 😆 I need to be mentally prepared for it. I DNF'd my fair share of books this year. I actually read Kristin Hannah's The Women and it was only okay for me but I know ppl loved it.
