The myQ Smart Garage Control wirelessly connects to your existing garage door (check for compatibility for garage doors manufactured after 1993). Using the myQ App you can open/close your garage door remotely, get notifications on your SmartPhone, and see the garage door status (open/closed and for how long). The myQ is also compatible with
Amazon Key, which is a service from Amazon that allow their drivers to leave your packages securely in your garage.
***In this video I mention being disappointed the Smart Garage Control does not support Apple HomeKit natively. For our next video, I will be reviewing the MyQ Home Bridge that adds HomeKit functionality to the Smart Garage Control.

I have a Liftmaster opener and their MyQ HomeBridge 819LMB works with Apple Home Kit. I love being able to open and close my garage through the Home app rather than the MyQ app which was sometimes spotty with connecting.
