I had a hard time trying to get the hub connecting to the garage door opener. I decided to watch this video. I learned from my mistake... I have selected Yellow because of the yellow light. I realized I was supposed to select RED cuz it is a red button,. Finally, it worked!

I have two old non-myQ compatible Liftmaster openers, and I see this kit works with them via the app. My question is if I'm able to also add the myQ video keypads to this old opener setup (preferably with full functionality), or if the keypads only work with myQ compatible openers? It kept asking me to press on a pre programmed transmitter, no idea what that is other than the buttons that are wired to the garage door opener that allows me to press to open and close…but that didn’t work either. Do you happen to have any idea about that? Couldn’t find a single video about it

Can this MyQ device be used with a Chamberlain garage door opener that has a built in MyQ? The reason is the built in MyQ device works on the owner’s iPhone and iWatch, and works on a co-owner’s iPhone, but not the co-owner’s iWatch. Perhaps this MyQ device can be setup with the co-owner as the primary account so that the co-owner can use their iWatch. The serious flaw with the MyQ system is only the owner can have an iWatch. The second person is not allowed to use their iWatch on the MyQ system. Maybe having two MyQ systems connected to the same garage door opener would allow two people to use both their iPhones and watches with the garage door opener.

Please be advised this doesn’t work if you need to “reprogram” the opener at any time if you don’t have a Chamberlain opener.

I’ve been trying to set this up for two days. Wi-Fi is strong. Hub location is good. It just will not pair with the garage door opener. My buddy who is a tech wizard couldn’t get it to pair either. His suggestion was to send it back. I’m so disappointed with this thing.
