My dog Speck, recently almost died as well. He is just a little puppy. He got into the garage and ate a bunch of stuff he shouldn't have and it basically caused an obstruction in his intestines. I noticed him vomiting alot and I just had a feeling something was seriously wrong my whole family kept saying "he is fine just wait and see. You're over reacting he will be fine". Then my dad finally saw it for himself and took us to the vet (thankfully cause I'm a single fuckin mother in college I'm broke as shit) so he paid for the whole thing and saved my puppys life. Without the surgery to remove the obstruction he would have died or been put down to save him the pain. But he was declining super fast. If he had not went to the vet when we did he would not have survived I don't think. Now he is doing great! Running and playing just as before.... Almost TOO well cause he doesn't get his stitches out til Monday and I have to constantly keep him calm to make sure he doesn't accidentally rip them.
