these guys are rockstars. It goes beyond the spot-on musicianship, it's their aura, movements, their epic instruments, their understanding of how video works for this kind of music. Every personality in the band is nicely fleshed out, with the vocalist doing a superb job at theatrically embodying what being a lead singer in a rock band is about. Great voice, and his energy spearheads the band with strength and aesthetic quality. Good stuff hailing from a place in the world I don't necessarily relate to metal. I'd love to see their live performance. If these videos are any indication, it could be quite a spectacle. Congratulations.

Prince of Persia memories... I LOVE THIS ORIENTAL METAL!
@rvs556 жыл бұрын
Middle Eastern metal, you mean. Oriental = China/Korea/Japan
@osamaroum6 жыл бұрын
you can say the same to arabic music "oriental music"
@blaqueen6046 жыл бұрын
oriental is more of an arabic thing actually and the middle east is more like saudi arabia lebanon iraq iran ......
@rvs556 жыл бұрын
Maya, the definition of Oriental is and has always, been found in the dictionaries. - Of, from, or characteristic of Asia, especially East Asia. I'm from South East Asia, so I know what I'm talking about. Oriental has always referred mostly to the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans.
Orphaned Land has arabic elements but it is an israeli band. The best arabic bands do death and black metal you should go and check them, you will forget about nordic black metal, they are actually pretty good.

one of the best metal videos i've seen these last years! it has everything: action, fantasy, adventure and air guitar! hahaha amazing! well, after watching it a couple of times i started thinking Zaher is too handsome. he is different from the other male singers in metal. that is why i like Myrath, they're excentric and original! and... what a voice, man! congratulations!
@Grievance878 жыл бұрын
The last part of your comment is like "he´s too handsome, he´s different, I´m in love - that´s why I like Myrath" haha. But no offense, if I were a girl I´d propably think the same way.

Just saw you live yesterday evening, you guys were amazing! I listen for quite some years already to you and was great to finally see you perform live and have a cd signed. By just saying to friends/colleagues I was going here and letting them hear this song I have gotten you a couple of extra fans who were really suprised and amazed. For sure I will go to you again the next time you are in The Netherlands!
