Hey, thanks for this review, they are from Tunisia, north africa

First i like to thank you for the review, but i just like to add couple things. First the band name is called myrath pronounced like this ( mee-rã-th ) which means inheritance in Arabic. The band is from Tunisia not Persia or Iran, and the sceneries are supposedly to be taken from the northern african deserts. it combines oriental arabian music with heavy metal which makes it unique. Again thank you for your review and i hope you didn’t mind my contribution.

koko 0606 you mean the Sahara desert sense your being so technical about what it's called and how its pronounced and where there from. You should get every name right if you're going that serious about it.
@ho-ry5uf6 жыл бұрын
Sean Mcduffie it’s still technically a desert in north africa Lol dude you didn’t find anything more interesting to comment? the band is already popular in tunisia and he isn’t being ‘too technical ‘ or anything he just stated few basic facts .

Just a small rectification: the plot of the video clip is that the band is that the myrth avatar freed Baghdad which explains the confusion of many non-Arab viewers. Yet, thank you for your contribution mate !!

They are from Tunisia , and this music video was crowdfunded

Actually they barely have any money. This video was only possible because of a crowdfunding campaign they had prior to pay for the production of the whole album and this single.

Myrath's latest album, Legacy, is slightly more pop-ish sounding. Their best sound, in a more hard-edged, symphonic, progressive metal style, is found on their first three albums: 2007's Hope, 2010's Desert Call and 2011's Tales Of The Sand. They all have this wondeful mix of Middle Eastern tunes with progressive lines and great vocals. Confession from their Hope album is one of my favourite Myrath songs.

Guys, it's just simple For example the Scandinavian metal bands and Celtic metal bands use his local musical instruments so myrath band does the same And I think the oriental metal was born now with this band

Why am I not surprised you already knew them? For some different mixing of styles, a lo heavier, you can check some of the songs from Mechina. Extremely underrated they produce concept space death metal albums but mix in some impressions from around the world. One of wich happens to be Bulgarian folklore music (where I am from). They have always been unsigned so the production is theirs and most of the instruments are programmed (I believe there is only one guitar solo in all of their songs and it is a guest): Mechina - On the Wings of Nefeli
