My take of this is that the mask represents her real self. At the beginning it was all a show so she felt happy, even when she acting like she was happy, angry and sad. Then she started becoming more into character, as a result her mask began feeling the same emotions, she became feeling like those emotions are real and hers. Then when she was near her breaking point, her real self no longer feel same as Sparkle when Sparkle is happy, her real self was feeling frustrated and is screaming for help, when Sparkle is angry, her self didn’t want too so she was crying, when Sparkle is sad, her real self is happy because that’s how she truely felt on the inside. You can see how the mask goes from a fox to a human mask, showing how Sparkle and real self has switched places

Kinda curious about the masks, first it's always smiling, second it's following what she felt, and last it does the opposite.. she isn't sparkle but she is sparkle, what😂

It’s almost like at the start, the mask had no consciousness and rather was just an ordinary object, then it gained consciousness and began mimicking Sparkle’s emotions, but eventually the mask began to oppose her emotions and took over.

It started as only a mask, just a facade Then she embodied the facade, that's why it now reflects her. Finally she became the facade. The facade mocks the husk that is the girl wearing it. Kind of similar to how batman is the identity and Bruce Wayne is the mask

mask aint alive. she began by using it to mask her emotions, always showing a smile to everyone else, not letting those around her know her true feelings. she then became more skillful at it, potraying a wide array of emotions, regardless of what she was actually feeling. for the last one, it seems like she lost herself in her countless identities, hence (im not sparkle) before later regaining it, becoming a true masked fool
