Can you plant in the same pot a large cactus like this with smaller "floral" type succulents such as echeveria, etc.,? As long as the pot is large enough and the soil is made for cacti (sandy, some small gravel, etc.)?

Hi! Thanks for posting this video and showing us your awesome plants! I have a small 'elite' cactus in a 4 inch pot, that I bought rooted. I will transplant it into the next size pot. About how long does the cactus take to get nice and big, like the ones in 10 or 12 inch pots? Thanks!

Hello! Every 3 years, transplant the cactus from 4 inch to 6 inch and then from 6 inch to 8 inch but make sure during the summer to fertilize it while you water it to encourage it to grow a little faster and better. Generally, it's not a very fast growing plant but if you really want to encourage it to grow fast, in the ground these cacti generally grow faster. However. I don't recommend that plant to be potted in the ground because it's too young. Thank you so much for watching!

Beautiful myrtillocacti…love the colours and shapes of your plants…I have a couple plants and wonder if you could comment on their care for optimum growth….I live in an area of all four seasons including snow😁. Thanks

Hello i was wondering if you could tell me the difference between the regular crest and the elite crest? Which one is better?

Hi There - the regular crest gets thicker and has larger needles. Also, sometimes they get branchy and grow out of the main crested body. The elite is thinner and has more of a structural harmony in its body shape. The shape stays fairly geometric as opposed to the regular crested form. The elite has a more unique shape, is more rare and is generally considered of higher value in the market. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
