Drip marble has to be my favorite of your designs! You can never go wrong with any kind of marbling.

Looks like fun! Guess I’ll have to give in and buy a stamper, lol. Or two. After never painting my nails in 64 years this has turned into a real obsession the last year! I blame KZbin, ha ha.
@sneezersmom6 жыл бұрын
I blame KZbin too! I knew nothing of clean-up until I started watching these videos in April, or May. The most I ever did was paint my nails, used a few stickers, some bling, and water decals. Now there are awesome techniques like this one.

I'll take my share of the blame, not a bad thing to be blamed for =)

This design is beautiful! I completely forgot that when I reverse stamp, I like to put CND sticky base coat over my painted nail. It does help get the design to stick better.

After you stamp this thick dried out beautiful design of your ... Try and press onto your nail a marshmallow stamper head with your fingers. Before you break into your cuticle line and than take off the latex 😉 Thanks Queen 🤗👐🏼 this is my favorite for this season! 😍

When I make decals I usually make them before prepping my nails. Including before taking off the old mani. And I have 10 stampers to make them with. Once the decals are done, then I take off my old mani and start prepping for the new application. Usually by the time all that is done, the decals are dry enough to peel and stick. Now, the first time I saw you do a drip marble, you made the design and then ran some errands which gave me the idea to make them the night before I was set to put on the new one(you may have even done that, I can’t remember offhand). But yeah, that’s how you make the application process go faster. This one isn’t my favorite because it’s not Christmasy enough for me, but I do love this technique and the way this one turned out. 🙂

Watching how you have done that marbling on a plastic lid inspired me to do the same, only to let it totally dry. Then I used a "leaf" punch and punched out autumn-colored leaves that I put into pretty little pots. These were Christmas presents for some of my friends and family. I don't know if they will appreciate them, but I had fun making them. Thanks for the inspiration!

I did do one test with red, but like I expected the drip marble mixed them together too much and it just looked really murky.
@independentrebelion47547 жыл бұрын
to make for a better, more satisfying peel, try putting some cuticle oil on your cuticles and around the edges of the polish. this will help loosen the base coat and help it peel and stay in one piece :)

Your so talented. Was wondering if you could do a poinsettia inspired nail art for someone without stamping or art tools please. Any color is ok since they sell so many colors of poinsettias now. You do so many marbling techniques I'm hoping you can maybe figure out how to do one. Thank you :)
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
I have a couple more ideas for poinsettias but I'm not sure if I'll get to them this year - but I do have 2 different water marble poinsettias from previous years.

Hey there! I saw you had some problems with peeling off the mani. Try to add nail oil and then peel.The peel is much smoother and the polish doesn't break and it comes off in one piece :)

I heard me name!😶😶😶 Thanks for the shout out, though I can't take credit for that tip. I think it was twi-star who mentioned in one of her videos that she uses Yellow Stopper under her stamping designs. I tried it the other day and it made the design stick more easily. This design is beautiful! Maybe one day I'll give it a try.

@mrs.schrado74217 жыл бұрын
Were you letting them dry a little too long? Could that be why they weren't having that nail shaped 'cut out' on the stamper?
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
I think it was partly the thickness of the polish, seemed thicker than like when I was stamping the drag marble, and actually maybe that they weren't dry enough. But I had some ideas after I was done that may make it easier next time

How are you not out of that top coat? Back when I started watching your videoss you said that particular top coat had been discontinued; fastward several years and you are still using it. Do you have a large stock pile of it?
@whitesun997 жыл бұрын
Bethany Redd the base coat that she first used has been discontinued. Seche Vite is still sold. 😃

it was my favorite base coat - gripper - that was discontinued. Although, I confess I still have some of that because I switched to mostly using the peel off
@Isobibbel6 жыл бұрын
i can never seem to get a drip marble to work, the colours just run into each other too much and get muddy, do you have any tips on how to avoid this?
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
like with water marbling, it really comes down to trial & error & testing different polishes. I really wanted to use a silver in this, but I couldn't find one that didn't overwhelm the whole design so I ended up switching to the white
@plentypeas7 жыл бұрын
I think you’d have an easier time stamping if you rolled the stamper onto and then off of the nail in one direction rather than rolling on and then backing up
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
The problem I was having with that, is the side of the stamped polish curling up over the design on the nail, like what happened with my 2nd pinky but worse. So I'm actually watching through the clear stamper to see where it's sticking to try and avoid that
@lshulman586 жыл бұрын
