Robin, just want to thank you once again for EVERYTHING you are and everything you do. I’m not a nail tech. This is just a new hobby for me. I’m an old RN who appreciates people who are real. People who have heart. People who are willing to put themselves out there for the benefit of others. That is you. I’ve been catching up on your older videos as I’m able, and have come to realize how unique and wonderful you really are. Selfishly, I hope you come back to us with a renewed spirit, but I understand if you just can’t do it anymore. The other night in my ER, I took care of a very young man who died in a burning car wreck. He was a John Doe. No one there with him. I want you to know that even if you can’t see us, we are there. We love you. Also, these snowflakes are awesome!

Robin Moses Nail Art thank you very much!!! A couple months ago I started watching you. I find something new even if I watch the same tutorial. Showing the consistency of the paint is awesome. Mixing the colors is something I find very hard. So I love it when you show your palette ad colors at the beginning of tutorial . simple basic techniques with your brush is so informative !! I love you and the beauty you create... Thank you!!!!

Mama...you are the reason I have decided to become certified. I just thought you should know that. I tried to do one of your tutorials & it turned out terrible BUT, I found out...I LOVED DOING IT. Thank you for that Robin...you've opened my eyes to something I otherwise would've never thought to attempt and, you ARE my reason for going to school. Love u girl! Please don't stop doing what you're doing.

When I started youtube......there was not really any nail art to speak of.....very specialized and by people who were doing it as hobbyists. I went in with 9 videos a week but i had bad cameras and didnt know how to do this at all...i just knew i had to paint and share it........so, now....its so flooded with people stealing art, using hugely expensive products and hobbyists at another level and i feel sometimes im drowning in this show that doesnt tell the truth....I think the art is gorgeous. i think the women are amazing. but, i work in this profession full time for my entire life and i know that what i am watching cannot support a family, especially ones without a secondary income. I try my best but I am often my worst enemy. I write this out because stepping back has allowed me to see that I truly love this....this sharing and I am going to do it my way from now on......and hopefully others will gravitate to this over time and see it is the true way to being successful when beginning and the luxury items are few and far between, but they DO enhance your work, but not out of the gate. I felt i had to say this because it is women like you, and comments like this that keep me sharing. KZbin is so so different now and people with big money pay big and get out first. I cannot ever be like that so thank you.....thank you for just letting me be me and do what i do. It makes me so happy to know that you are being certified using these principals and i know you are going to be successful with practice if you love what you are doing. that is where I started too. i was horrible at first. LOL. it was funny!!!!!! *huge hug* thank you filed away!

i would like to say.....its not on purpose that they dont tell the truth...but doing your nails perfectly on stick on nails and then posing them with very high cost items is a way of sharing beauty.........but it is NOT how it is in the shops....and cuticle painting is key....staying on time. making enough to pay rent without gouging clients....KEEPING THEM......i knew wonderful artists who couldnt keep clients for a number of reasons and I have to stay true to this as part of my wisdom of sitting in a chair with women who stay with me for so many years and are such a huge part of my life.

Oh wow, reading this had me in tears because...you're sooooo right! I don't use expensive products EXCEPT my topcoats. I use acrylic craft paints, I love wet & wild polishes, I CAN make a beautiful nail for pennies...now lol I couldn't used too but, YOU...yes, YOU showed me some light & your videos showed me my calling. I know that I can't be the only person here that feels that way. I feel you on being horrible in the beginning, I think I have 3 videos up and, lol they're AWFUL cuz...I am so bad at editing but...I keep trying! I just needed you to know that you've been a HUGE inspiration to me and, you are an idol of mine. Not because of your fantastic art but, because you're a fantastic artist & person. Thank you & please don't stop...to some of us...you're videos mean alot to us!

These are so beautiful! I started to learn how to do acrylic nails, so I can open my own little shop. I want to focus on handpainting nails, not just the regular stripes, dots, stones, stamping etc. that everybody does. I am happy to hear that you are going to do more portraits, those are fantastic! I learn so much from you, Robin, and you inspire me to be a nailartist, too! Thank you so much♡

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for saying that application & technique is more important than focusing on saying "You have to buy all of the hundreds of dollars of products I use or you'll never be as good as me" - There isn't a darn thing wrong with Sinful Colors and Wet n Wild. 😙😙💕💕

LorieLee 313 for me, sinful colors and wet and wild have come through for me in a pinch more times than I can ever type. During times where I didn't have a lot of money to spend on anything they got me through and allowed me to make extra money so if anything, they are the superior product because they allow people like us to succeed

I can't wait to try these. Your brushes are amazing. The price is so great...I live on a fixed income and was able to buy them both. Thank you. Also, I use the lids from fast food or fountain drink cups to mix my paint. Works great for the small design with less colors. Then just toss or recycle whichever u choose. Price is right It works great for me.

I love watching you. I am not a nail tech, but I was an art major in high school so even if I never do your designs on nails, you are teaching me. I may use an idea or technique Doing something else. I may decide todo some of your stuff on my nail mat and make decals with them. It might be easier for me. You are appreciated. Btw there is a new iridescent glitter topper out by sinful colors that is just beautiful if someone can't find the wet and wild.

I'm not a nail technician, just an art enthusiast. I used to be hairdresser until I found my calling in another field. So i understand why brandnames do not mattet as much as technique does. I do not get why anyone woukd complain about particular brand you use. All thats needed s acrylic or poliah. I enjoy your videos, transparency and good heart. As I don't get to practise much my "technique" lacks but information and thorough explanation is beneficial to both pros and non pros. Thank you Robin 😆

jennifer...its been very difficult for me and i HAVE to stay true to me. I am not sure exactly what that is yet but I know this.....starting now, I am going to be authentic and not be scared. I see so many emails of people wanting me to push their products and they dont work and they promise so much and end up hurting so many. I have to be a leader for ME so I know I can sleep well knowing I am creating joy and not another online store with no heart. Its not the easy path and I love you so much for all you do and say ......for years now. someday I am giving you the most huge hug. Thank you for supporting me for me....and painting and just being all around awesome. I was so scared to upload today......I still dont know my path, but I know this.....my ten videos I just edited are a bit weird but REAL....lol

So many nail channels are not true to who they are, or maybe they are in the way of being fake. And all these companies trying to get fat pockets at the cost of Customers. I bought a product, actually 3 products from a recommendation and review from another nail art channel 2 yrs ago. 1 of the products was HORRIBLE, It was a waste of money. 1 product actually burned my skin (it was that gel nail polish remover, promises to remove thick glitter polish in 3 minutes), the other product didn't work as well as the girl said they did. Now I'm leery of spending any money based on recommendations of anyone. I wont lie, I love OPI and China Glaze, kinda a China Glaze junky honestly. But my favorite brand is Sinful Colors. I see so many people put that brand down, but I never have a problem with it. I'm a licensed Cosmetologist. I try ALL products I use on my clients on myself first. If they don't hold up to my standard, I wont use it and I wont recommend it to anyone. I'm going back to school next year for just nails. I'd like more education on nails, since all I did learn before in school was the basics. I had a teacher tell us, be innovative, be a leader not a follower.

lori wargo I wish... When I am editing my videos I think dang, I got out of frame or I could have said that better or I could have used something more inexpensive so they could get the same look without having to spend extra money. I have made it a personal thing to really pay attention when I record this year and dedicate myself more honestly to providing the best art techniques I can for the least amount of money and the best videos I can make by myself. Many people that create videos now have teams. And they want me to join teams, use their products, and be part of a system. I refuse. So sometimes I feel very proud that I stayed true to my path even though it's so difficult sometimes LOL but for the art?... I think to myself that I hope someone can use it and make it more beautiful than I have in my lifetime... I'm a weirdo I know LOL

Nothing weird about you. You feel passionate about your art and helping people to learn. I am glad you stay out of the commercial part of all of this. You understand that most of us cannot afford a lot of the products that are out there. I told you once that I made my own pigments from old eyeshadows, blushes an even sidewalk chalk. The chalk gives a beautiful pastel background. So here's to the do what you can and use what you have people. I was thinking more about your art when I made that comment. Most people couldn't do your art on paper let alone on a fingernail. Hugs

I have a request. I have wanted to do a winter scene looking out of a window. I just don't know how to get it all in. I am thinking a lighted tree in the yard or a snowman. then pulling back and seeing it through a kitchen window or something like that. Like a mom would watch her kids out playing. I know you can work miracles on nails. If you don't have time this year I totally understand. Thanks so much for all that you do. :)

I would like to defend you on the topic of products. I've been watching your videos for about 4 yrs now. I started watching yours before anyone else's. Your art is amazing. I wish I had half your talent. You've always said product name doesn't really matter. I'd say 80% of every video I've seen of yours you do say what you're applying. You even have a video where you show how to cut down a craft brush to get the effects you do. That person doesn't know what they're talking about. That person was probably just upset that you don't use high end name brand stuff like some of the other artists. Not that its a right or wrong way to go. Some people live on a budget and cant afford to use expensive brands. Some people don't have a budget or have companies give them products.

Rande Thorman thank you. I wrote a long reply but my phone hacked it and I couldn't even understand myself LOL! I find that working in this medium is where my heart feels the most joy and I want to stay close to that always. I have finally found some peace of mind with this considering all of the free products that I could get if I wanted them now. But, that isn't the real world and I remember how hard it was for me to spend extra money on polish and really way out if I could afford it or should I go behind on a bill

Sharron Smith and see? That makes me so sad and I don't want to use a whole bunch of products that people cannot find. A good secondary polish instead of dazzledry I would be seche vite or out the door topcoat now you can find them at drugstores! But before, they were the most high and topcoat you could buy.

Is one acrylic paint better than the other? And Is one brush better than the other one? I love your work!!! Just some time when you have your friends in with you ,you don't explain your work good because y'all are talking.Thank you for your videos!!!

You did inspire me to start with nails and I still do people's nails just not as often, but I have to educate you, unless you have a license which I do not you cannot work in any nail salon or shop in certain nail stores, I felt like Julie Roberts in pretty woman when they wouldn't let me shop. 😭😭😭😭😭

Donna that is why I do not teach acrylics on KZbin. Because I feel I just want to give Art to those who watch me. To do the acrylics and work in a shop would require a license and my heart doesn't feel right doing that. At least at this time. I heard that the US will make it to where we don't need a license either soon but I don't know if that is Gossip or not...

I don't want your videos for products. I have bought a couple of polishes the same as you used in a particular tutorial but that's because I liked them. But I'm watching for technique and execution. The whole point of the matter is the design can be what you make it.

If it wasn't for your channel I would have stuck to boring O'l nails , not there's anything wrong with that.. however this year you really inspired me and pushed me to be creative and draw "even though i do mine with Gels" . I suck at it , BUT , i give it my all :) Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone... you can see some of my stuff on my Instagram instagram.com/growlingcheetah/
