Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wanted to make a mini album since last year as a baby gift. I tried to follow some videos on youtube and I didn't like the results. The person went to fast or wasn't clear on the instructions. I watched your thorough tutorial and was able to make my first mini album for a baby. I was so excited because it looks like it was bought from the store. Your video is awesome. You went slow and gave great instructions. Again, thanks.

Thank you for posting a wonderful video series. I love working with these mini-albums because they look very professional; unlike the ones I had no interest in with the hole-punched sides and key ring bindings. Now that being said, You talked about using black chipboard without wrapping. I bought the chipboard; however I ended up wrapping it because it didn't have a strong, finished look. How can you not wrap it and get a nice finished product? THANKS A BUNCH, you are WONDERFUL!~

Very clear and good instructions. Thank you so much. I am just wondering when you said if you have black chipboard, no need to cover it, but what do you do with the spine or is this on another tutorial? I wondered if it was bound or using rings.
@mysistersscrapper10 жыл бұрын
You still have to use a portion of cardstock to wrap the spine and covers together. JYou just don't have to wrap the entire cover is what I meant.

It is not as strong as score tape. You need a really strong adhesive when you create your pages. You can use the ATG tape when adhering your design paper to your pages however! I strongly recommend score tape or any other really strong adhesive when making your page.

Oh, and because I used black and didn't have 12 x 12 black card stock I used 10 pieces of 6 1/4 x 5 3/4 with a 1/2" side score and they fit great. I only hope the one piece that is 5 5/8 x 12 can be substituted by 5 5/8 x 11 (fingers crossed). Thanks again! BTW October Afternoon has GREAT PAPER (your previous video) but is a hard pad to find. I really want the Rocket Age, but cannot get it anywhere. Any tips? Thanks!!

I am new to paper crafting. I have been on youtube watching videos on how to make cards & mini albums. I was lucky enough to find you & this excellent tutorial. Would you please tell me what the name & mfg.'s name of the decorative paper you used is? or would you point me in the direction of where to find similar paper? I would love to make an album for a new little baby boy. Thanks.

Hello ginger sorry to bother you but I want to say thank you for helping me the other day the mini I made looks amazing well I think so. I wanted to know how do you work out how big is you hinge and pages as i am going to attempt another mini but this time I wanted to make it 10" x 6 1/2" with a spine of 2 3/4 x 10" I've made a few measures but keep getting it wrong so if there was a technique I would love your inspiration as I just can't seem to work it out. And I want to make this album exactly just a little taller as I'm going to make me a wedding album and pregnancy album and I love the style of pages and flaps you have come up with. Thanks ginger xoxoxox hope your having a nice day on your side of the world.
@mysistersscrapper9 жыл бұрын
The hinges are always just slightly smaller than the height of your page. For example if your page is going to be 10 inches tall then your hinge would be slightly smaller.. Like 9-7/8.

Lori, the reason the pages are 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 is so you can use a full sheet of 12x12. I already have a tutorial for pages that are 6x6. It is called the Sweet Day mini album tutorial.
