- ½ inch Ginger
- 2 inch Green Chilli
- ½ tsp Salt
For Mysore Masala (chutney):
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Chana Dal
- 1½ tsp Udad Dal
- 5 to 6 Garlic Cloves
- ½ inch Ginger
- 1 piece Onion
- ½ tsp Haldi
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli (Kashmiri)
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Tamarind (imli)
