I cannot sleep tonight My daughter just had another seizure. I have no peace or comfort right now. I sit here scrolling. Looking for synthetic dopamine. I spent this afternoon praying unceasingly for God's healing over my daughter. It's been 2 years now. I hate epilepsy. I wish it was something that would materialize so I can fight it. I once thought my faith was strong and powerful. When her seizures started I did all of the things a Christian would do. I truly believed that God would take this away from her. That he would heal her. I fasted and prayed many times. I read and reread scripture. I find myself two years later still hoping. Still believing. My family and I decided that no matter what, we will believe. I sit here. Heart wrenched. Talking myself out of being angry with God. Hoping for her miracle. Tonight before she went to sleep she asked me to pray that she doesn't have any seizures or nightmares tonight. Maybe 30 minutes later, seizure. I hate epilepsy and wish everyone who has it is healed. It truly is horrible. So I'm here. Listening to my favorite teacher. Hoping to renew my faith and love for God-no matter what.

@@stevelenores5637 Indeed. The recognition of the merit in God’s word requires wisdom in order to be able to understand it, therefore wisdom is with God. Most intelligent people equate wisdom with abundance of knowledge, which is an error because wisdom is brought forth with experience.

(Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused) I believe... Your title is great Kind Sir. For, in my 91 yrs of age Christianity; I was given some wisdom from a Preacher; when I was 9 yrs old. But not like I have it now. So what happened? Huh? OK...first... The preacher's title that night was: "How did King Solomon get his Wisdom. And being a very young boy; I would usually let it; go into one ear and out the other ear! But NOT that night...Praise Jesus. I was so excited about it after the preacher preached that story; that was untold how Solomon got his wisdom! And get this... Secondly, God's Angel told that young Solomon; that he WAS going to be the next King of the Israelities (that had grown to millions). And He said, "NO! I can't do that"! Because King David had just passed away. And Solomon had an older brother; that he said "HE" was going to be the next King! "In no uncertain terms!". But the angel kept saying, "You ARE being the next King!". And they went back and forth. Finally Solomon said, "If I have to rule over those 'stiffnecked' ones, I need WISDOM!". And wow...God was really pleased, for Solomon didn't ask for money, ETC! And God, through his Angel said, "Because you did not ask for money; God will make you having wisdom; that has never happened before. And never will again!". "And I will make you the RICHEST man there will ever be". And Solomon was made the King of God's Israelite's. And His life was like NO other King ever. Plus, He became the richest man; so much that even today; no one can tell count what he was. Oh yes. And WOW of our precious true God Almighty; whose name is Jesus. Praise His Holy Name Forever!... And his wisdom was so incredible; that people from a thousand miles from him; they would come to see "This Un-believable Man"; with that Heavenly-led Wisdom! That nobody could have imagined; when they saw him. And what he did and had done; and would do in the future!. And by that time with my preacher...I was going crazy. And this is true, as I could ever be... I remember almost every thing that Preacher preached. May Jesus rest his soul. Amen! And then was...when I walked up the aisle; and became a "Born Again" Christian. Wow! And I left that church with NOTHING but King Solomon and his Wisdom on my mind. And that night I prayed to Jesus, for wisdom. And Praise Jesus, I got some. And there is no need to know what happened; until I became 75 yrs. Because the Holy Spirit pricked my mind for a long time; of "WHY are there untold; different Denominations all over the world?" Huh? And it kept pricking me. Finally I couldn't stand it; WHY Jesus doesn't STOP that satan-led, Godless EVIL denominations? Huh? And I finally ran up to my bedroom, and fell on my knees, and cried and prayed my heart out. And asked Jesus: "Why do you let that happen?... Because, I don't want to be Right!. I just want to know, WHAT Right is? Please dear Jesus"... And I also, asked Him to give me "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truths" dear Jesus. Because He is the ONLY "Inerrant and Infallible" being, there will ever be. Now...He did not answer; why there was untold different Denominations! But yrs going on; I realized why he doesn't stop them. I said to my self, "FREE-WILL" dummy! WE have to stop that and NOT Him. AMEN! And the wisdom, understanding and truths; really came galore in the last 16 yrs. Like I could never have imagined. Praise Jesus Holy Name. However... IF I was out there; and I hear any one say what I just said all the above; I would SAY, "That guy is an EGOTIST to the 'nth' degree. That didn't happened! Because, he is lying through His mouth!" Well, Brethren, believe it or not. What I have said DID happen. Whether ANY one believes it. End of story, and I rest me case... ...in any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

How many millionaires (who lost and regained) have spent their whole life in the study of the Word and Not forsaken his love for Christ? So many aspects about Chuck that most don’t know. He wasn’t perfect…and never claimed it. Never proud, embraced humility, and convinced to the death of his purpose in Christ. I revere him as much as RC Sproul and John MacArthur. Yet never as much as Jesus The Christ. Think what you want, and as Chuck ALWAYS said…”Don’t take my word for it.” And with that, He is just another piece of iron…that I sharpen myself against.

Chuck Missler and John MacAurther are absolutely nothing a like. When confronting a controversial topic Chuck always tells you what others believe, what he believes and why…and usually prefaces the other people with a remark like they are good bible scholars. John on the other hand calls everyone he disagrees with a false teacher and as a result has developed a cult following that think they are among a small group going to heaven and everyone else is going to hell. I think there are a couple in this thread. Which is really unusual to see any negative comments in one of Chuck Misslers videos, normally they are filled with nothing but love for his teachings. I’m not sure if all of John’s messages are like that but everyone I see on YT seem to take the position that he’s the self appointed church critic and feels the need to try and point out why all these other pastors are missing his mark

Well, God is my Father and I am His child. Human maybe afraid or dread of his own biological father but our Father in Heaven, we sure can approach Him in like manner described in Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy.... What's BOLDLY mean here? Something to consider here, isn't it? I wished I could ask Chuck for an explanation 😅😅 God the Father is my buddy. I have the boldness to come to Him for anything according to His will.

@@101life9Thank you for the reply! Interestingly, the purpose of the fear of God is to prevent us from using human reasoning. When you said why does an obedient child need to fear his father, you were using human reasoning rather than scripture to make your point. When God says Fear Him, he isn’t playing around. Fear is an amygdala trigger that accomplishes His will. Human sentiments like reverence, respect are a stench in His nostrils. Jesus said plainly, I receive not honour from men. We have to play by Gods rules, we can’t just assume we understand something based upon human reasoning.

Wisdom says to focus on the Key word:" In Righteousness " So as to GET, what scripture Paul is referring to. Ro.3:21-22 That isnt to say that the OT isn't the word of God, but the Word given about the law isn't the Righteousness of God ; The law of Righteousness written on tabrets of stone. What does God quicke stones; or the hearts of men? 2 Cor 3:3-6 Jesus is our wisdom made to us by God, 1 Cor.1:30 Wisdom also teaches that to believe the law of righteousness could give or aid anyone after the flesh tohe strength that ONLY the Love of God could give Romans 5:5-6, 7:15-24

If he and the others had nothing else from which to preach, why do you christians throw out the ''old testament,'' as if it is obsolete? Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Nabiy'im [OLD TESTAMENT]; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. \o/

This holiday is associated very strongly with fertility for pagans.Apr 30, 2019 The Celts named the first day of May 'Beltane', which is one of four fire festivals throughout the year along with Imbolc, Lammas, and Samhain. The Celts saw Beltane as the beginning of summer and brought life and fertility back to the world. Bel was a Celtic deity, or god, and the name Beltane means the 'fire of Bel'. 💃💒💃 Do not forget that Jesus was bringing fire and DIVISION. Hawaii recently burned. Who spoke the sun in unto existence. The G-D who Satan fears! Yet Christian take the chummy chummy approach, starting with their attire in church. If any of you were to be given an audience with say the president. You would likely prepare for a week to make sure you looked presentable. Yet many wear flip flops to stand before the sovereign Master of the universe.. May it be you fear nothing, but that your knees buckle at the name if The Lord.

Which would be HUGE lol (love love love chuck) but around 45:28 he speaks of God's Condemnation.....wait there is no Condemnation in Christ. ..please help me Herr for according to my math I'm statistically wrong and would love another to be gods vessel to explain how I'm wrong . Praying before hand that powers And principalities in high and dark places doesn't destroy the soil the seeds are planted on. Please pray against the birds in the air. If the Bible is the best book we have in the West in ethical terms we should be practicing slavery. The creator of the universe clearly expects us to keep slaves. He simply tells us not to beat our slave so severely that we put out their eyes or their teeth. Jesus clearly expected us to keep slaves. He never criticizes the institution of slavery. He uses analogies with slaves. Paul in first Timothy admonished his slaves to serve their master as well and to serve their their Christian masters especially well so that they can partake in their holiness. The abolitionists were absolutely on the wrong side of the theological debate. If this is the wisest book we have the slave holders of the South were right and on so many other questions this is true. If this is the wisest book we have we should be beating our children with rods It says so in proverbs. Incidentally fundamentalist Christians in our country are beating their children with rods. Last year alone in Alabama forty thousand kids were paddled in their schools. It is legal to do this. This is a faith-based initiative. Sam Harris
