That was both beautiful and deeply moving. Thank you for sharing both the concert and your Easter traditions with us. I think it was wonderful that you got to continue the tradition of decorating eggs with your God-daughter... yet in a modern way, too. Somehow, that is even more important. Traditions also evolve. If they don't they may fade away when they no longer are relevant to our lives, which is sad.

The Orthodox Christian Church of Finland has so many beautiful traditions. My family is Evangelical Lutheran but my mother made pasha each Easter, too.

@@charenteliving you should attend a traditional high mass! Or even better a traditional solemn mass. Between the gregorian and the poliphony it is a synesthetic experience in addition to a deeply religious one

Thanks Shirley. Quark is like a very thick natural yoghurt, made from warming sour milk until it curdles, you then strain it. (tastes better than it sounds haha) Its somehow similar to the French fromage blanc.

Bonjour, the stickers for the eggs are a very good idea. I never saw such things in France. It's also true that we don't have the tradition of eggs for Easter. I discovered it in Prague. Have a great week 😀 😉

Yes the egg decorating is very big here. What are the big traditions in France for Easter?

@@charenteliving it will be the chocolate eggs, chicken, bunny... now you can find so many shapes. That you hide into the garden and then kids have to hunt them. In Alsace they do more outdoor decorations like in Germany and est countries.

As a Greek, though I am Catholic I come from an Orthodox backround, it was nice to see you celebrating an Eastern Rite Mass. I had the impression that Robert as an Irish might be a Roman Catholic and you a Protestant. Thanks for sharing.
