We love you lots Dave. The pain of loss never goes completely away, but it does get more bearable over time. Life sucks and then we die. All we can do is get up, dust ourselves off after each setback, and try to find something that brings a little joy to our lives. I hope you are enjoying some time with your daughter. Remember that she won't be young and carefree for long. Get in some quality time while you can. You are the same age as my oldest daughter. My biggest regret was always working long hours and not spending enough time with my kids. Family is everything, cherish yours while you can. We'll be looking forward to when you feel stronger 😊❤🧸

What a magical place , views are so stunning and as usual Dave you and your team are very respectful of the property. I can almost smell the decay and see how massive the property is , such a shame about the loss of her child 😢 I love France they have such beautiful chateaus out there with original features still in place . Thank you for a wonderful explore , wish someone would save this home ❤

I know it almost, always happens, but it''s so disappointing to see massive vandalism. I know that I would be clearing things, closing drawers, doors, etc, if I was there, out of respect. It was difficult watching this video because of the disregard some have of others property and possessions.

Once again, another once upon a time, magnificent home. Abandoned without a care. Dave, I've noticed the last couple of videos you are really rushing through each room. With rapid camera movements and even jerky, at times. I'm probably incorrect, but past videos seemed you weren't in a rush to get through each room. Showing us viewers every important thing and details slowly. Regardless, you are still one of my favorite explorers for many many reasons. Thank you for sharing this home. Sad that the tragedies slowly took away the family members who once made this now deteriorated, scavenged through, desolate, place their home. Looks to me from the color choices and designs perhap some stoned Hindu hippies may have resided within. Thank you for sharing.

I'm pleased to know that others agree about the differences in the video footage. I'm worried maybe Dave's hurting from his previously injured knee? Only, because I for sure know how pain will change how we interact with life without all the hiking, walking, etc these explorers have to go through. With all due respect to them all. Looks like fun, but, a job is a job whether you enjoy it or not!! I hope Dave is 👍.

Thankyou Dave what a beautiful place I could really live in there it's really structurally sound it needs new indoor and work on it but if I had the cash I would defensive that. It looked to me like a more Chinese oriental feeling with the artifacts in that room I'm thinking they rented out theatre props and clothes. The instrument when you first walked in looked like part of an accordion with the keys. It had a sad feeling and to see the photo and portrait of the little 8 year old boy broke my heart. The furniture was amazing but the decor was quite whacky I got a 1970s vibe. Again thankyou so much and keep safe xx

The little chapel is beautiful. I wish we could go back to a time where it was normal to put something so symbolic of your dedication to God in your everyday life. It left no question where your loyalty lay. In the USA everyone wants to remove religion from everything when it is part of the foundation the country was built on. I believe everyone has a right to believe what they would like. But things that were there and gave you the freedom to believe as you do, leave it alone. If I could afford to, I'd build a chapel bigger than my own home in front of it as a testament of my own faith and a place for people to find the true light in this world. Spreading the word of God's unconditional love and trying to bring others to him on their own - will be my life's mission. Seeing how important faith was to these people touches me. And it makes me wonder, where did it go? No one on earth is a saint, so there should be no judgement. The confusion I feel is when did faith become so insignificant? I know I have always been called an "old soul", so maybe that's why I question things other people my age don't. I enjoyed this video. Thank you for always sharing the most beautiful parts of a beautiful life. Hardship finds us all, it's a real part of life. It brings it closer to us making us realize that we are not the only ones. I wonder how many hours were spent in that chapel. Much love to you. I'm so sorry about your Nan. Just remember you were blessed to have her in your life for so long. She will always be in your heart until you are reunited. And she would want you to do the things that keep you happy and healthy. Break when you need it, surround yourself with those you love, hold on to little Poppy as hard as you can, and remember you are not alone. You have many fans who you've offered to help in a crisis. Take care, stay safe (ditch the crocks on explores) and may God bless you & comfort you! 💞Kat

AMEN!! I love watching a variety of videos on KZbin because these sports, jobs, hobbies, (all in one) are something I would have LOVED to have done in my younger years. I did go into an old abandoned hotel that had turned into a woman's prison back in the day, way before it was ever popular to video tape the explore. I loved it. It was so suspenseful. I watch JP's exploration videos, as well, when he goes walking in the woods, exploring. Something else I'd still love to do. But, with a broken down body, what's one to do? I know what these awesome dudes explore for us, and we sit home and reminisce when our body parts were functioning normally, without falling down, limping, hobbling, bruising, hurting. Isn't getting old so much fun for many of us? God bless the oldies still out there jogging, riding bikes, doing marathons, hiking. That's where leading a healthy lifestyle gets you, sometimes. Check out BiBi, the monkey. The cutest, smartest little, precious monkey, ever. He will surely make you 😃 smile.
