I always thought Abram’s productions were really fluffy. You put into words why I was feeling that way. It’s like cotton candy.

He's great at visual momentum and making it exciting in the moment, but his storys definitely over rely on the Mystery box trope, which make for fun beginnings but he hasn't been able to tell a good end. Mystery boxes really come down to simple setup and payoff and they hold the payoff for far too long.
