There were similar drone operations (9' wing span, at dusk, with lights) in the midwest recently with no public explanation. Maybe radiation levels spiking in NJ this year is merely a coincidence.

Indeed, I have yet to see one of these "drone" videos that's not very, very, very clearly a plane with standard lighting. But hey, I'm not there.... that's just what I see online.

Scott, do manned "drones" have the same remote ID module requirement, or are they considered aircraft? BTW, thanks for the video. thoroughly enjoyed it & learned a thing or two.

"manned drones" - also known as EVTOLs, are aircraft, and are required (like other aircraft) to have ADS-B out capability. They will show up on ADS-B Exchange, FlightRadar and any ADS-B equipped aircraft with the capability to display TIS-B traffic.

Practicing a novel security precaution disguised as a military show of force for the upcoming inauguration? In the meantime the military can use it as training time for mapping, coordination, etc. I know from first-hand experience military branches don't always coordinate well, even when sharing a base. But if the military isn't losing their shit over something, chances are it is something the DoD is running or has sanctioned.

Love the Airplane in the background. Always loved Canards. I’ve always believed they have needed a nice down rated turbine. When I win powerball I’ll call you. Also a longtime Pilot. I have also had numerous UAP experience starting in 1994. We were intercepted by a UAP enroute on a 121 Airline Flight. The WMD belief imho is a great cover story because it’s believable but the news media has all but ignored all of it. Yes the Govt knows what is going on. My personal thought by watching and observing the Ocean Orbs (USO’s) and even 2 bright giant orbs over a City, is the Government is swarming multiple states with drones to hide these UAP/Orbs in plain sight. If they confuse the public with aerial objects people are less likely to understand what is truly going on. Notice the Military is not chasing them or shooting them because these UAP would reveal their true nature. So the Govt is ignoring them and instructing the media to ignore them too. As soon as they go away the drones will cease and Govt will declare it over but classified. If it really was WMD we would see States mobilizing ground teams to intercept these WMD. We see none of that. It’s all a big giant lie to conceal UAP’s so nobody notices. That’s my most current opinion.
