Lydia has come so incredibly far. When she first came on Tom’s channel, it was mostly just jibes and the odd banter, but now it’s just a pleasure to watch whatever new horrible character she comes up with. From Ghost girl twin to Horrible Dracula, just excellent role play!

He talked about how a lot of viewers dropped off during the opening moments of a video and wanted to tone it down or drop it for this season of Mystery Quest, he did a cold open last episode so I think it's not that they've run out of ideas it just makes more sense to recap the story so far in an ongoing series.
